My Thoughts: While I am familiar with the character... I never seen much on Ant-Man before seeing this movie. I never read much comics and the shows I watched as a kid from the '60s - '80s never showed much of him. But I must say... I enjoyed the film very much. I liked all the cast and the character they played. It is a good origin story that is both informative and entertaining. It has plenty of action as well as a few laughs here and there. Definitely recommended. Rating: (From March Marathon: Superhero Films on March 29th, 2016) Cow Belles, a review by addicted2dvd

My Thoughts: This one...while entertaining... is not a great one. I didn't find many of the characters likable and the story line was predictable. I felt the cast did a fine job though, the problems I have with this film is with the story itself. Over all I would say it is worth the time put in to watch it. But don't expect too much from it. Rating: (From August Movie Marathon: Disney Channel Original Movies on August 8th, 2016) The Flash Marathon, a review by addicted2dvdThe Flash Marathon Image: The Flash finds himself in a future he doesn't understand Episode 15 - Fast Forward An explosion caused by a missile The Flash tries to outrun sends him time-traveling into Central City of 10 years later. There, notorious villain Pike rules with an iron fist... and The Flash seems powerless. Guest Stars: Michael Nader as Nicholas Pike Richard Belzer as Joe Kline Vito D'Ambrosio as Bellows Mike Genovese as Lt. Warren Garfield Biff Manard as Murphy Robert O'Reilly as Victor Kelso My Thoughts: This has always been one of my favorite episodes. I like the storyline. I liked Julio knowing Barry is The Flash (in the future). I always hoped it would turn that way for the series... but the show didn't last long enough to see that happen (if I remember right). And I also liked having a bit of an update on the pilot episode. My Rating: (From The Flash Marathon on April 25th, 2010) |
