Overview
My thoughts	This is an excellent film. It has a great script. It has lots of excellent actors, many of whom has gone on to become famous later. So why did this film leave me indifferent? I really don't know. Maybe it was the downbeat ending. But I have seen many film noir with downbeat endings and liked them, so that doesn't make any sense. Maybe it was because I couldn't relate to the main character? Maybe it was just that I was in the wrong mode? I just don't know. Maybe the famous quote "What we have here is failure to communicate" applies to me? This should really be a 4 star film, but for me it was just a weak 3 stars. But don't let that put you off. By all accounts, this is an excellent film.

Plot:

Decent time-loop movie. Here the characters can travel 20 minutes back in time to try to prevent a maniac (James Belushi) killing other people with at first worse outcome as before. I can recommend it when you find a good bargain. Bad thing is, that the DVD release is quite old and has non-anamorphic picture and no bonus features.

Rebirth (Parts 1 & 2)
Part 1:
Bruce Wayne, the original Batman, retires due to failing health. 20 years later, Terrence "Terry" McGinnis discovers the Batman's identity after the aging Bruce Wayne helps him fight off a gang of Jokerz. After Terry's father is murdered, Terry seeks Bruce's help to avenge him.

Part 2:
Terry steals the Batsuit to pursue his father's killer, a professional bodyguard whose employer, the current CEO of Wayne-Powers, is secretly using the company's resources to develop a biological weapon.

My Thoughts:
I really enjoy the new futuristic imaging of Batman. The 2-part pilot episode was very entertaining... I found myself not wanting to stop. I could have watched a few more episodes easily. I think this series is definitely worth giving a shot.
