Visions, a review by addicted2dvd
Stars: Isla Fisher as Eveleigh Maddox Anson Mount as David Maddox Gillian Jacobs as Sadie Joanna Cassidy as Helena Eva Longoria as Eileen Plot: After moving to a vineyard to start a new life with her husband, a pregnant woman begins to experience terrifying visions. Extras: My Thoughts: This is a film I found on Netflix. It is a slow moving story but interesting enough to keep me watching til the end. And I am glad I stuck with it as it has a good ending. I would probably add this to my physical collection if I could find it cheap enough. Rating: (From Horror / Halloween 2017 Challenge on October 13th, 2017) The Last Starfighter, a review by addicted2dvd
Stars: Kay E. Kuter as Enduran Dan Mason as Lord Kril Lance Guest as Alex Rogan Dan O'Herlihy as Grig Catherine Mary Stewart as Maggie Gordon Barbara Bosson as Jane Rogan Plot:Extras:
My Thoughts: This is the first time I have seen this one in years... probably since it first came out in the '80s. The story holds up well... even if the special effects has not. But then would you really expect them to on a film like this? I found this film to be a lot of fun. I have read reviews putting down the Beta Unit... the robot that stayed on Earth to tak Alex's place. But I enjoyed those scenes as well. This one is well worth the time put in to watch it. This is one I recommend checking out if you never seen it. My Rating: (From What Movies I Been Watching on August 11th, 2014) "Big Bang Theory" Marathon, a review by Tom01. Pilot (2007-09-24) Writer: Chuck Lorre, Bill Prady Director: James Burrows Cast02. The Big Bran Hypothesis (2007-10-01) Writer: Robert Cohen, Dave Goetsch, Chuck Lorre, Bill Prady Director: Mark Cendrowski Cast: Johnny Galecki (Leonard Hofstadter), Jim Parsons (Sheldon Cooper), Kaley Cuoco (Penny), Simon Helberg (Howard Wolowitz), Kunal Nayyar (Rajesh Koothrappali) I loved the Superman discussion If this series would solely consist of such discussions with no storyline to speak of, I would still continue to watch it (yes I am a geek ) (From "Big Bang Theory" Marathon on September 22nd, 2008) |
