Imagine all the fury of a prehistoric carnivore combined with the ferocity of the largest crocodile known to man and you have the makings of nonstop terror. Run for your life as Gereco Corporation's experiment to manipulate a rapid-growth hormone gets out of control, and a ravenous monster gets out of its cage. Now the residents of the once-peaceful Grant's Lake have only the talents of a crude Australian reptile hunter, the short-handed local sheriff, his daughter the animal control expert, and her boyfriend, to save them from the insatiable jaws of a beastly feeding frenzy.

Closed Captioned

My Thoughts:
Not to sure what to say about this one. I went in expecting a cheesy movie. And I did get that. But it definitely could have been worse. I thought the Dinocroc looked pretty cool. And I liked how they kept him mostly hidden from view for most of the movie. I would say it is basically an average movie. I went in not expecting much... so came out of it without being disappointed.

Rest Stop: Don't Look Back, a review by Hal

Title: Rest Stop: Don't Look Back: Uncut
Year: 2008
Director: Shawn Papazian
Rating: NR
Length: 89 Min.
Video: Widescreen 2.40:1
Audio: English: Dolby TrueHD: 5.1, English: Dolby Digital: 5.1, Spanish: Dolby Digital: 2-Channel Stereo, Portuguese: Dolby Digital: 2-Channel Stereo
Subtitles: English, French, Spanish

Stars:

Gary Entin

Plot:
One year ago, the mysterious Rest Stop killer drilled, ripped and splattered young road trippers Jesse and Nicole.

Now three more unsuspecting travelers come looking for the missing duo. And that means the killer gets to sharpen his horrific torture skills all over again - only bloodier and scarier than before. He's not alone, either. The Winnebago full of creepy living corpses is also back, roaming the old highway. And Jesse and Nicole's brutalized ghosts seek revenge, determined to give as gory as they got. Watch if you dare. But whatever you do, Don't Look Back!

Extras:
Scene Access
Feature Trailers
My Thoughts:
Jess' older brother Tom, back from Iraq, goes looking for him a year after he disappeared in Rest Stop: Dead Ahead.

Just more of the same blood and gore as in the original, but with a further explanation of the RV family and "The Driver's" seeming immortality thrown in.

Pretty much ho-hum in the acting department.  Not much reason to revisit this one in the future.

Biography: Sylvester Stallone: The Rocky Road to the Top, a review by addicted2dvd

Biography: Sylvester Stallone: The Rocky Road to the Top

Stars:
Peter Graves as Narrator
Jackie Stallone as Mother
Renee Link as Jackie's Sister
James Colen as Childhood Friend
Tony Robbins as Friend
Charlie Flynn as Childhood Friend

My Thoughts:
After watching all the Rocky films, there was no way my brother and I couldn't watch this DVD with an episode of Biography that came with the Rocky Anthology box set. I always liked these documentaries... but this is one that I never seen before. I enjoyed it quite a bit. I learned quite a bit I never knew before... and I was reminded of things I completely forgot about. This is a fun watch... worth checking out.
