My Thoughts:
I watched this one with my brother. We couldn't do it all in one sitting... so we watched each part approximately a week apart. Finishing it off today. After the first part both my brother and I came to the same conclusion. This is one weird retelling of The Wizard of Oz! The thing is though, weird doesn't necessarily mean bad. And we both found ourselves being drawn into the story. And this fact continues through-out all three parts of the mini-series. As it turns out we found that we enjoyed this mini-series quite a bit overall. Being as weird as it is though, I do have a little trouble recommending this one to others. I would say if you are even curious after watching the trailer to give it a try... and don't make any snap judgements watch at least the entire first part before giving up on it.

My Thoughts:
Brittany and I watched this together today. I am sure you will see a review from her before too long. I really enjoyed watching this movie again. It was even better then I remembered it to be. And it was much funnier then I remember too... Britt and I both laughed out loud many times through-out this movie! It is a very fun and exciting movie!

Right after watching it with Brittany I turned it back on with the commentary track turned on. It is with the director, the writer Pat Morita and Ralph Macchio. I tell you... if you want to listen to a discussion on the technical side of making this movie... do not look for that here. This is more like a bunch of friends getting together to watch a movie. making all kinds of jokes and even a lewd comment here and there. But that is OK... I enjoy listening to this kind every once in a while.

This is one of my favorite movie memories of the '80s! I am so thrilled I got it to watch again... and looking forward to continuing this marathon!

Angel Marathon, a review by addicted2dvd

Angel: Season 3

21. Benediction
Original Air Date: 5/13/2002
Holtz returns from the Quor-toth dimension and sets into motion the final part of his revenge against Angel.

Guest Stars:
Vincent Kartheiser
Laurel Holloman
Mark Lutz
Stephanie Romanov
Keith Szarabajka

My Thoughts:
I enjoyed this one. It was fun to watch Angel and Connor fighting side by side. And how they fight so similar even though he grew up apart from Angel. Though I do think the whole Cordelia's new power saving the day in a previous episode... and her new power "curing" Connor in this episode is a little much. Seems like they are using it as a serve all purpose type thing at this point.
