2012, a review by RossRoy

2012
WHAT THEY SAY
From Roland Emmerich, director of The Day After Tomorrow and Independence Day, comes the ultimate action-adventure movie, exploding with groundbreaking special effects. As the world faces a catastrophe of apocalyptic proportions, cities collapse and continents crumble. 2012 brings an end to the world and tells of the heroic struggle of the survivors.
Starring John Cusack, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Amanda Peet, Danny Glover and Woody Harrelson.

MY THOUGHTS
CGI fest. An excuse to destroy the Earth, yet again.

They want it to be a sort of modern retelling of Noah's Ark.. but in the end, the "plot" is there to show chaos, mayhem and destruction. Nothing more. It's along the very same lines as Day After Tomorrow...  :hmmmm:

My Thoughts:
Felt like some silly comedy this morning... so decided to pop this one in. If you ever seen any Three Stooges short you pretty much know what to expect going into this one. Just like the shorts it isn't the type I can watch often... but is fun when you are in the mood. I think they did a pretty good job on it. They cast the stooges well... and the storyline keeps your interest. Definitely worth checking out!

My Rating:
Out of a Possible 5

Plot:
Betrayal is a Bitch.

A hypnotic opera where love and loss walk hand in hand, Rumbling Hearts doesn't shy away from the sad song of real life. Fans of the romance genre must surely take note! Tough situations are conveyed with surprisingly realistic emotion, creating a genuine keepsake production for those who know the most intense conflict comes from within. You will be forever changed.

Four high school friends, basking in life's shining promise that everything will be perfect... Until tragedy intercedes. A horrible accident leaves Haruka comatose and her loving boyfriend Takayuri broken by the burden of blame, stumbling in a wounded waking dream. Mitsuki becomes his willing caretaker, but their self-destructive relationship is ravaged by guilt and pain. When Haruka stirs from slumber after three long years, a desperate charade begins. Lips whisper lies and trade secret kisses of betrayal. Some things can never be undone.

Silver linings slip away under every moon. The sunrise is so often bittersweet.

Rumbling Hearts
1.01 Friends to Lovers

This is the first time that I ever saw an episode of this series. Based on it I can say, that this could be a series I might enjoy.
