Length: 173 Min.
Video:
Audio: Hindi: Dolby Digital 5.1
Subtitles: English

Stars:
Anil Kapoor

Plot:
A decidedly delicious mix of patriotism, comedy, science-fiction, romance and adventure. Arun (Anil Kapoor) who lives in an old spacious rented house, rescues orphans and looks after them. He is aided by his Calendar (Satish Kaushik) the cook and odd job man. When journalist Seema (Sridevi) also takes up residence in the house there is trouble. She despises children, and this brings about a love-hate relationship between Arun and Seema. One day Arun discovers something his scientist father (Ashok Kumar) had hidden, a secret formula to make one invisible. Arun uses the formula to save the country from the evil Mogambo (Amrish Puri), a villain to beat all villains. Seema falls in love with Mr. India (that is what Arun is when he is invisible), without even having seen him, not realizing that they are one and the same.

X-Files - I Want To Believe, a review by addicted2dvd

Title: The X-Files: I Want To Believe
Year: 2008
Director: Chris Carter
Rating: PG-13
Length: 108 Min.

Stars:
David Duchovny
Gillian Anderson
Amanda Peet
Billy Connolly
Xzibit

Plot:
David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson re-team to unravel a bizarre case right out of The X-Files. In the blink of an eye, amidst a bone-chilling cold and an eerily deceptive calm, FBI agent Monica Bannan is mysteriously abducted. But this is no ordinary kidnapping. And not only does the search for the missing woman ignite sparks between partners Scully (Anderson) and Mulder (Duchovny), it defies the boundaries of science, the supernatural and the terrifying spaces in between!

My Thoughts:
This one I recorded off of a premium channel on cable. Being a huge X-Files fan in the past I been wanting to see this one for a long time now. Since I do not have this one on DVD at this time... I didn't include any DVD specific info in this review. Though I do plan on getting the DVD eventually... as I enjoyed the movie quite a bit. It really didn't have anything to do with the mythology from the series. But I am personally glad it didn't as I always liked the stand alone episodes better anyway.

My Rating:
Out of a Possible 5

Plot:
Nicknamed the "Not Ready for Prime Time Players," the original cast of Saturday Night Live ignited a comedy revolution with their mix of irreverent characters and satirical impressions of political figures and pop culture icons.

From the premiere of this groundbreaking sketch comedy show on October 11, 1975, live from historical Studio 8H in New York City's Rockefeller Center, Dan Aykroyd, John Belushi, Jane Curtin, Chevy Chase, Garrett Morris, Laraine Newman, and Gilda Radner launched themselves into instant stardom and were often referred to as "The Beatles of Comedy."

Created by Lorne Michaels over three decades ago, few other shows have had the cultural impact and relevance of Saturday Night Live.

Nowhere else can you see the complete first season of SNL, featuring hosts George Carlin, Rob Reiner, Lily Tomlin, Richard Pryor, Elliott Gould, Candace Bergen, or original musical performances by Simon & Garfunkel, ABBA, Patti Smith, Jimmy Cliff, and Carly Simon. And if you're curious as to how the original cast was hired, check out the DVD bonus features that include the screen tests of each performer.

The first ever SNL show. George Carlin is the host here, with some hit and miss jokes. My favorite part of this episode is the now famous Mightly Mouse skit by Andy Kaufman.
