Extras: Scene Access My Thoughts: A good movie. The first half is done after the popular formula: Nice poor guy falls in love with rich girl who is (almost) engaged to another man. He works hard to win her over. The second half shows something, other movies fail to show: What happens to such a pairing after they got married? How do they manage one year later? Are they still happy? Are the money problems tearing them apart because he refuses to take money from her relatives and friends?Rating: (From Tom's Random Reviews on August 9th, 2009) The Grudge, a review by addicted2dvdTitle: The Grudge Movie Count: 51 TV Ep Count: 17 Time Started: 8:30am Plot:My Thoughts: This is only the second time watching this movie... and it has been so long since the first time I went into this one not really remembering much at all about the movie. Which is the main reason I watched this one... because I want to watch Part 2 next... and needed to remind myself of part 1. This is a pretty good ghost story... I would say above average in my opinion... though it could have been better. I did enjoy watching it again. It felt like the comedy was lacking for the most part. Even though I did like Fraser's father edging him on to kill or hurt the guy that killed him. But one thing did bother me a lot in this episode. The guy that killed Fraser's father seen him while hanging from the window. That just does not fit in with the father being only in Fraser's mind.
