Mulberry St, a review by addicted2dvdTitle: Mulberry St Movie Count: 37 TV Ep Count: 8 Time Started: 4:45am Plot: The city that never sleeps may shut its eyes for good when a deadly infection turns its residents to savage creatures. There is only hope for a small few, including six recently evicted tenants who must protect their crumbling apartment complex as the city around them is thrown into chaos... My Thoughts: Another blind buy... The blurb on the front cover calls this a Zombie movie. I think that is a bit misleading. It is definitely similar to a zombie movie... but in my honest opinion it is more of a mutation type movie. I have enjoyed most of the After Dark Horrorfest releases so I wasn't to worried about it... just wanted to complete the collection. These After Dark Horrorfest movies is independent movies... so you go in realizing they don't have the budget that the Hollywood big releases have. This one is a good movie. I definitely enjoyed it... but at the same time it is not the best out there. It is just a strong above average movie. My Rating Out of a Possible 5 (From My Month Long Horror/Halloween Marathon: 2008 on October 11th, 2008) Spider-Man 2, a review by TomTitle: Spider-Man 2 Year: 2004 Director: Sam Raimi Rating: FSK-12 Length: 122 Min. I enjoy it even better than the first one. Also the CGI Spidey is much more convincing in this movie. Episode 20 - Good Night, Central City Sweet dreams, citizens. Thieves who possess a sleep-inducing machine plan to pick banks and jewelry stores clean while everyone in Central City experiences a deep slumber. Guest Stars: Bill Mumy as Roger Braintree Richard Belzer as Joe Kline Matt Landers as Harry Milgrim Vito D'Ambrosio as Bellows Biff Manard as Murphy Mike Genovese as Lt. Warren Garfield My Thoughts: A good episode. I did like seeing Barry Allen in a bit of trouble... needing to clear his name. Made for an interesting episode. This one has Bill Mumy in it. I know there was a kid actor in a few episodes of the original Twilight Zone by that name. But I have to wonder if this is the same person or not. I say that because this show was made in 90/91 and he only looked to be in his mid 20s. Though I guess he could have just looked young for his age and be in the mid 30s here. Making it possible I guess. My Rating: (From The Flash Marathon on April 26th, 2010) |
