IMDb |Trailer |Wikipedia |
Director:Craig Pryce
Writing:Annie Young Frisbee (Writer), Rod Spence (Original Characters By)
Length:83 min.
Rating:TV-PG
Video:Full Frame 1.33:1

Stars:
Catherine Bell as Cassie Nightingale
Chris Potter as Jake
Hannah Endicott-Douglas as Lori
Matthew Knight as Brandon
Peter MacNeill as George
Catherine Disher as Martha

Plot:
All Cassie Nightingale (Catherine Bell) wants for her birthday is for her family and friends to be together. While her husband Jake (Chris Potter) suggests an intimate dinner at a fancy restaurant in their hometown of Middleton, Cassie would rather have a party at The Grey House, with all her loved ones in attendance. And since Jake's kids, Brandon (Matthew Knight) and Lori (Hannah Endicott-Douglas), are growing up with lives of their own, it might be their last chance to unite as a family for a long time.

My Thoughts:
This morning I watched this year's news addition to the Good Witch franchise. This is film number 6 and I am enjoying them just as much now as I did when I originally saw the first one. This series of films has become one of my favorite things about the Halloween season. One I hope to continue for years to come... though with the way this one played out I wouldn't be surprised if this is the last in the franchise. If you like family films with a touch of fantasy... I recommend checking out the entire Good Witch franchise.

My Rating:
Out of a Possible 5

My Thoughts:

It has been years since I seen this film... and I must say I enjoyed revisiting it! I use to love the game as a teen and watching this movie again today makes me want to play it again so badly! I find it fun to see some of the game characters come to life here. This one has good martial arts action with a supernatural twist. Definitely recommended.

Inside the walls of Kennedy High, there's a war being waged for the most elusive prize of all...popularity. Get into the heart of the battle as Nicole, Josh, Sam, Mary Cherry and all the characters you love (and love to hate) fight to claim their rightful place on the popularity scale!

Experience all 22 episodes of Popular's sensational first season. It's innovative and addicting television that the 'San Diego Tribune' calls "poignant and true."

This series is created by the same guy as Glee. Maybe this is why I enjoy both series. It even has some similarities. Like the football captain trying out for the school musical in one case and in the other for the Glee club.
