My Thoughts:

Billed as a horror movie, there was little that was horrific about it, but I still liked it's originality and concept.

A bit of the supernatural, with religious overtones, as the people of 'The Gathering' are revealed for what they truly are you find yourself marveling at how it all fits into historical significance.

One thing that bothered me about the movie however was one particular scene of utter stupidity in which...

It just baffles me how a director can have equals moments of brilliance and idiocy in the course of one 90 minute flick.

I've never been a fan of Christina Ricci or her abnormally large forehead but she did a good job as the lead and I must confess I was duly impressed by her nicely proportioned 'rack' ;)

My Thoughts:
I enjoyed this fun little comedy. Some fun visuals with a nice story. Although going after the last few South Korean movies that I watched it seems to be the norm at their high schools to be a lot of big fights between students.

Plot:
Conceived during the 2000 Presidential Campaign and launched just months after his inauguration, That's My Bush! offers a glimpse into the life of George W. Bush in his very own prime-time television show.

In this definitive collection of all eight episodes, South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone provide a unique take on the state of network sitcoms while skillfully dealing with controversial subjects like abortion, the war on drugs, and the death penalty.

That's My Bush!
Season 1.01 An Aborted Dinner Date
Writer: Trey Parker (Writer)
Director: Jeff Melman
Cast: Timothy Bottoms (George W. Bush), Carrie Quinn Dolin (Laura Bush), Kurt Fuller (Karl Rove), Marcia Wallace (Maggie Hawley), Kristen Miller (Princess Stevenson), John D'Aquino (Larry O'Shea), Lisa K. Wyatt (Joyce), Toddy Walters (Tour Guide), George Brandon (Felix's Assistant), Kevin D. Carlson (Lead Puppeteer), Steven Chiodo (Puppeteer #2), Ed Chiodo (Puppeteer #3)

Strangely, it is a fun idea to do a standard sitcom in a White House setting. I have enjoyed this series. But I can understand that it didn't last long. It's a fun premise, but not something I can see working for multiple seasons.
This series was created by Trey Parker and Matt Stone, the guys behind South Park. And their humor is very noticeable here.
