Fantasia 2000, a review by dfmorgan

Fantasia 2000

Fantasia

Year: 1999

OverviewWatched: 28th. Nov 2010
My Thoughts: Not quite as wonderful as the original Fantasia, maybe because the themes used within the images are similar to the earlier themes. Still very enjoyable though.

My Rating: An enjoyable 3

Good Morning, Vietnam, a review by addicted2dvd

Good Morning, Vietnam

My Thoughts:
This one I have not seen in many years. I am a long time fan of Robin Williams... I enjoyed him every since Mork & Mindy. In this movie he brings a lot of that energy he is so well known for. But even with that said... I think there should have been more. I would love to see him just let completely loose... no holds barred... and see what he could really do. But this is definitely a good, fun movie. Well worth the 2 hours you put into it.

My Rating:
Out of a Possible 5

Plot:
No Heroics is a six-part comedy series about four old friends who just happen to be off-duty superheroes.

The show focuses on their day-to-day lives, which turn out to be pretty much the same as everyone else's. In fact, superheroics seem far from their minds behind relationships, sex lives, and a constant desperation for success and fame.

Instead, this group of B-listers would rather get drunk and commiserate their lack of superiority in their local superheroes-only pub, The Fortress...

No Heroics is an ground-breaking comedy featuring stellar Britcom talent. The show has garnered much critical praise and a nomination for Best New Comedy at the British Comedy Awards 2008.

A good episode, but sadly overall this series wasn't as fun as I hoped it to be. The concept is similar to the movie "The Specials". I preferred the movie though.
