Plot:
Kevin Kline and Sigourney Weaver star in this box-office winner about an uncanny Presidential lookalike recruited as a momentary stand-in for America's Chief Executive. However, things don't turn out exactly as planned and Dave finds himself continuing the masquerade indefinitely.

Ivan Reitman (Ghostbusters) directs and supporting players Frank Langella, Ving Rhames, Ben Kingsley and Charles Grodin supply more reasons to stand up and cheer. Real-life Washington politicos and pundits join the fun as Dave uses ordinary-guy savvy to deal with the extraordinary responsibilities of the Oval Office.

My Thoughts:

Charming political comedy about a presidential look-a-like who is pressed into taking on the role for real on an ongoing basis.

Outstanding cast with Kevin Kline, Sigourney Weaver, Frank Langella, Charles Grodin, Ving Rhames, Laura Linney, Ben Kingsley and a gaggle of both political and celebrity cameos. The ending was predictable but it was still a great feel good movie.

I very much want to find myself attracted to Sigourney Weaver but I just can't get myself there. I admire her acting chops and some of the great performances she has had in her career but she has a hard, no nonsense edge about her that strips away the sex appeal. The only movie that I felt she pulled off sexy in was the comedy Heartbreakers where she played a gold digging, vampy con artist and I loved it!  She is probably now past those kind of roles at her age but I wish I had seen more of that from her earlier in her career. ;)

Video: Anamorphic Widescreen 1:85.1
Audio: English, French and Spanish
Subtitles: English and Spanish

Stars:

Emmanuelle Chriqui
Jeremy Sisto

Plot:
IAn indescribable nightmare begins when a group of young friends, stranded on an isolated road deep in the Appalachian hills of West Virginia, find themselves relentlessly pursued by a force of evil beyond their imagination!

My Thoughts:
Love it when I saw it in a theatre 10 years ago and it haven't change today. This is exactly the kind of horror film that I like. Fast pacing, you don't have any time to relax and breath, no time wasted to explain why it happen or who are those guys, no Deus ex machina at the end, credible acting and some real jump scares (no faking by using music or jumping cat).

One of the best american horror film of the last ten years, Highly recommanded.

Birds of Prey Marathon, a review by addicted2dvd

Disc 3:
8. Lady Shiva
Still a lot of fight in her. Oracle dons the 'Batgirl' outfit to confront a criminal reminiscent of an old foe.

My Thoughts:
This is an excellent episode. One of my favorites of the whole series. It was cool to see Barbara in the Batgirl outfit. The story and everything was really well done on this one.

9. Nature of the Beast
Divided loyalties. Reese asks Helena to protect the crimelord who killed Dinah's mother, Black Canary.

My Thoughts:
Another really good episode. Dinah has no choice but to deal with the anger she is feeling after the death of her mother.

10. Gladiatrix
A fight club operator forces metahuman women to battle each other. On tonight's card: Helena vs. Dinah.

My Thoughts:
Another episode that I really liked a lot. It was fun seeing Huntress and Dinah in the ring against each other. And this is yet another episode that it would seem Smallville took the idea of. I remember a Smallville episode a season or 2 ago that had something to do with underground fighting.

11. Reunion
The girl most likely. Helena thinks attending her school reunion is lame until someone starts murdering ex-classmates.

My Thoughts:
This was a pretty good... but standard episode. Nothing really all that note-worthy about it in my opinion.
