Plot:
A small Greek village is the last known place where a group of youths were last seen while they looked for a hidden temple dedicated to the Minotaur. A Catholic priest and a New York police detective team up to search for the missing youth and uncover a terrifying cult devoted to sacrificing their victims to the Minotaur. Will our heroes be in time to save the youths from their sacrificial fate?

I hate that when I watch a movie with a good cast and a story that looks interesting, that finally turn not so good. The big problem is the fact that we know right from the beginning who is the leader of the cult wich removed all the suspence and the mystery about the Baron character. Also Peter Cushing doesn't seem interested at all with this film and his performance isn't as good as usual. Donald Pleasance is in the overacting mode, but to be honest this is his usual one. Luane Peters do anything in this film, she's the useless girl in trouble nothing else than that. It was a nice surprise to see many actors from Island of Death with small role in this film (Robert Behling, Jane Ryall and Jessica Dublin to name them), but of course there was not an handfull of english talking actors living in Greece at that time. The end is quite laughable also...

Too bad because it could have been a good movie.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Blonde, bouncy Buffy (KRISTY SWANSON) is your typical high school cheerleader - her goal is to "marry Christian Slater and die" and nothing gets in her way when it's time to shop. But all that changes when a strange man (DONALD SUTHERLAND) informs her she's been chosen by fate to kill vampires. With the help of a romantic rebel (LUKE PERRY), Buffy is soon spending school nights protecting L.A. from Lothos, the Vampire King (RUTGER HAUER), his sidekick, Lefty (PAUL REUBENS), and their determined gang of bloodsuckers. It's everything you'd expect from a teen queen in the Valley.

My Thoughts:
Well... it just felt like it was time to watch a comedy. I enjoy a good comedy horror now and then. I know a lot of people that prefer the TV Series to this movie... and I agree... I do enjoy the series more... but I do still enjoy the movie as well. This is the second Vampire movie I watched this weekend with Donald Sutherland... as he was (great) in the remake of Salem's Lot. As much as I enjoy this one...  I have no idea why. It isn't particularly that funny... but all the same I still really get a kick out of it.... and keep finding myself coming back to it!

I just finished this season. While I still enjoyed it quite a bit. This is actually my least favorite season of the series. It got a bit tiresome how they kept Lois and Clark apart. And I really didn't care for the whole frogs/clone storyline. That said... it did end on a high note. One that set up the fourth season really nicely. Once again there are many guest stars that I recognized this season. In the third season there was Peter Boyle, Bruce Campbell, Patrick Labyorteaux, Jonathan Frakes, Dave Coulier, James Read, Fred Willard, Brad Garrett, Tony Curtis and Justine Bateman.

When I first started to re-watch this series I was actually only planning on watching the pilot episode... or at the most the first disc of the first set. I got so into this series again that I have now completed the third season... and I still don't feel like I want to stop... so about to start the fourth (and final) season!
