Plot:
Boris Karloff stars as the screen's most memorable monster in what many consider to be the greatest horror film ever made. Dr. Frankenstein dares to tamper with life and death by creating a human moster out of lifeless body parts. It's adaptation of the Mary Shelley novel blended with Karloff's compassionate portrayal of a creature groping for identity that makes "Frankenstein" a masterpiece not only for the genre, but for all time.

"Boo!" a short film

My Thoughts:
For me this is the grand-daddy of horror films and the epitome of the genre.  This movie gave me nightmares as a child, and for many years, until I was a young adult, I would not watch it.  Watching it today, all of those old feelings came swooping down on me, and just proved that i was not just childhood fears that scared me way back then.  From the setting to the timing to the music to the acting, this is a classic for all time.

Mr. Magoo's Christmas Carol, a review by addicted2dvd

Mr. Magoo's Christmas Carol
An animated, magical, musical version of Dickens' timeless classic "A Christmas Carol." The nearsighted Mr. Magoo doesn't have a ghost of a chance as Ebenezer Scrooge, unless he learns the true meaning of Christmas from the three spirits who haunt him one Christmas Eve.

My Thoughts:
This is part of a boxset that I got called The Original Christmas Classics... it is in a set of 7 specials. This is one I haven't seen since I was a kid. I always liked the character of Mr. Magoo. And I always liked the story of A Christmas Carol... but the one thing I don't like about this special is all the music they use in it. That is the one downfall of this show in my personal opinion. I am happy to say that the quality of the release is much nicer then I was expecting... for some reason I wasn't expecting too much quality wise. but I have absolutely no complaints about the quality of this set.

My Rating:
Out of a Possible 5

My Thoughts:
I just finished watching the first season of Arrow for the first time. I must say... I enjoyed it very much. The series is loaded with a bunch of great action... and it has a great storyline that keeps your interest as well. I think the entire cast did a fine job as well. Though the series is not perfect. First off is this series is about the Green Arrow... but yet they refuse to call him this... through-out the entire first season he is only known as "The Hood". Also I didn't like how they did his mask. I mean just wearing green make-up across his eyes like a mask? No... this just not right. And this series also falls short where many superhero movies and TV Series do... to many people learning Green Arrow's secret identity. I can accept one... maybe two for the entire run... but more then that is just too much in my opinion. But despite all those problems I found another series that I love. So can't wait to watch the season 2 episodes... especially with how the first season ended. If you never seen this series... I highly recommend it.
