After Sundown, a review by KinkyCyborgTitle:After Sundown Year: 2005 Director: Christopher Abram Rating: R Length: 88 Min. Video: Widescreen :1 Audio: English: Dolby Digital: 2-Channel Stereo Subtitles: English, Spanish Stars: Susana Gibb Reece Rios Natali Jones Michael W. Brown J. Christopher Plot: The Wild West is about to rise again in this horrifying and gory tale of the walking undead. When a strange body is exhumed from a forgotten graveyard, a vampire from the Old West is re awakened, and she's had a long time to be hungry. Now, it's up to the unfortunate souls who found her to send the creature back to Hell before their town is overrun by bloodthirsty evil. Extras: Scene Access Audio Commentary Feature Trailers Deleted Scenes Featurettes Closed Captioned My Thoughts: Cowboys and vampires! It was a good idea, and their hearts were in it but this is about as amateur as you can get. I'd hardly call this a movie... more like a high school visual arts project, and I've seen better of those. I find it absolutely miraculous that a studio and distribution company, let alone Lionsgate, would actually put their name to this fiasco. Avoid at all costs. KC Rating: (From KinkyCyborg's Random Reviews 2010 on July 7th, 2010) Tamara, a review by addicted2dvd
Stars: Jenna Dewan as Tamara Riley Katie Stuart as Chloe Chad Faust as Jesse Bryan Clark as Shawn Melissa Elias as Kisha Gil Hacohen as Patrick Plot: Tamara is not the most popular girl in school. Mousy and quiet, she is picked on constantly. When her classmates play a practical joke that goes awry and results in her death, the once-homely teenager comes back from the dead as a sexy seductress to exact revenge on her killers...one by torturous one. My Thoughts: I just finished watching this title. I enjoyed it more then I thought I would considering it is in a set with 3 other movies... a set that I got so cheap. I enjoyed the storyline... liked the characters... and also liked the way they did the blood/gore. It was there without being over done. The way it ended was done well also. It left itself open for a sequel.... hopefully one will pop up as I would watch it. I am not sure I agree with this one being rated R... I seen similar movies (content wise) to this rated PG-13. I guess it just barely made an R rating. I can see myself watching this one again. I would recommend checking it out. I did have a little trouble deciding between a 3.5 and 4 rating. My Rating: Out of a Possible 5 (From What Movies I Been Watching on January 21st, 2012) Tom's TV Pilots marathon, a review by Tom
