Godsend, a review by JimmyMOVIE / DVD INFO: Title: Godsend (2004) Genre: Drama / Horror Director: Nick Hamm Rating: PG-13 Length: 1h42 Video: Anamorphic Widescreen 2:35.1 Audio: English Subtitles: English and Spanish Stars: Greg Kinnear Rebecca Romijn Robert De Niro Cameron Bright Merwin Mondesir Plot: My Thoughts: A little bit predictable and not really scary, but it's Holywood horror so it's understandable that the horror is more psychological. The basic premisses is plausible since our memory is located in our brain and like everything we are it's a cellular mass, so the dual personality considering how it was done in the film is credible (in real life I doubt it would be, cloning of course it is but like the doctor do no way). All in all this is recommanded but I've seen better acting from Robert De Niro... My Thoughts: I picked this one up used at a convience store a couple months ago. I picked it up cheap.. less then a dollar. Other then the Olsen Twins... this one also has Jared Padalecki (Supernatural). To be honest with you... when I picked this one up I really wasn't expecting too much from it. Then when I watched the trailer I saw some potential... but still didn't expect too much. After watching it I can say it had it's moments... but for the most part I have to say below average. Kinda the Olsen Twin's answer to Ferris Bueller's Day Off. As little as I paid for it... I really can't complain. But it isn't one I could recommend. Best I would say is if you are bored one day and can see this one for free.... well then there is worse things you can watch. But there is also plenty of better things that could be watched as well. Notable Guest Stars: No One Recognized My Thoughts: Another very good episode. I really liked the storyline with the infant... especially the way it ended.
