Hacking Democracy, a review by RichA very thin link for Finland (a Finnish hacker) but was a documentary I was keen to watch... (From Around the World in 80 DVD's on January 3rd, 2008) Captain America (1990), a review by addicted2dvd
Stars: Matt Salinger as Steve Rogers and Captain America Ronny Cox as Tom Kimball Ned Beatty as Sam Kolawetz Darren McGavin as General Fleming Michael Nouri as Lt. Colonel Louis Scott Paulin as The Red Skull Plot: The Red Skull defeats Captain America in 1941, but the super her is thrown into suspended animation. Captain America is revived 50 years later to face the Red Skull one more time. Extras:
My Thoughts: While I have heard about this film... this is the first time I got to see it. I am glad I finally tracked down a copy... as I enjoyed every minute of it. I found it to be just plain fun. Though I would have liked to seen Captain America in his uniform more during the middle of the film... that is just a minor complaint. This is a DVD I borrowed from the library... so I hope to be able to add it to my collection before too long.My Rating: Out of a Possible 5 (From What Movies I Been Watching on December 1st, 2013) Tom's TV Pilots marathon, a review by Tom
Plot: You hold in your hands an artefact from a time now vanished forever; a compendium of portals into worlds unknown. An eight-disc set that controls over 26 hours of transmission from the 1963-64 series, this vessel has sought you out for one specific purpose: to expand your mind to "The Outer Limits"! Outer Limits 1.01 The Galaxy Being This is the first time I have ever seen an episode of the original Outer Limits series. The episode was a little slow, but I really liked the look of the alien being. I can imagine that of its time it was rather eerie. Rating: (From Tom's TV Pilots marathon on June 21st, 2012) |
