My Thoughts: Part of a Children of the Corn triple feature set I bought for this past Halloween marathon... unfortunately I never got around to watching it back in October. I haven't seen this movie since it was originally released... wow, that was 20 years ago!?! So needless to say... watching it today was like watching it again for the first time. At first I was considering watching the first movie before this one... but I seen it not that long ago... and seen it several times... so didn't feel the need. After watching I felt it was pretty good. I didn't care for it as much as I did the first one... but it was still worth watching. Yes... this one does have a bit of blood in it as well... but the first movie was more graphic. Over-all I would say it is worth the hour and a half you put in to watch it. Unfortunately there is no extras what so ever on this release. My Rating: Out of a Possible 5 (From The Movies from Within My Lifetime: 2012 Edition on April 1st, 2012) The Prince Of Egypt, a review by RichThe Prince Of Egypt Very reminiscent of a Disney animation, this story of Moses is impressive technically, has a great soundtrack, and is blessed with a heavyweight cast list which make the voices very recognisable. Not sure how accurate this is in relation to the bible, but scenes such as the red sea crossing and the overall colourful 'feel' were exquisite and memorable. Now over a decade old, this still appears as an impressive movie technically, and merits a viewing **Sandra Bullock mini-marathon (From Riches Random Reviews on August 22nd, 2009) Angel Marathon, a review by addicted2dvdAngel: Season 2 17. Disharmony Original Air Date: 4/17/2001 While the crew tracks down a cult of vampires led by a former motivational speaker with a wicked pyramid scheme, Cordelia gets a surprise visit from her old high-school buddy Harmony. Unaware her flaky pal's a bloodsucker, Cordy mistakes Harm's strange behavior for lesbianism---until the truth comes out, so to speak, in a call to Willow. Much to the dismay of her co-workers, the ever loyal Cordelia resolves to give her undead friend a chance at fighting for the good guys. Guest Stars: Mercedes McNab Pat Healy Alyson Hannigan My Thoughts: This one is more a fun, comedic episode. And it definitely is funny. Brittany joined me watching this one... and she was laughing so hard she couldn't even breath. It was definitely hilarious seeing Cordelia confusing Harmony being a vampire with being a lesbian. And even more so when she goes on about it to Willow over the phone. My Rating: (From Angel Marathon on March 9th, 2010) |
