My thoughts about Big Hero 6:
When I saw the trailer for Big Hero 6 I thought it looked like a fun film, like a Disney-Pixar movie. I was dismayed when I realized it was more a Disney-Marvel movie. I usually don't respond well to Marvel superhero movies or TV shows, Daredevil being the exception, and as it turns out I didn't much like this one either. For one thing, the story was way too predictable. Baymax was fun, but that couldn't save the movie for me.

A lot of people loved this movie. Good for them. I'm not going to knock the movie, but I'll just say that it wasn't my cup of tea.
I rate this title

Zombieland, a review by Boomstick98

Zombieland (2009)

Plot: In the horror comedy Zombieland focuses on two men who have found a way to survive a world overrun by zombies. Columbus is a big wuss -- but when you're afraid of being eaten by zombies, fear can keep you alive. Tallahassee is an AK-toting, zombie-slaying' bad ass whose single determination is to get the last Twinkie on earth. As they join forces with Wichita and Little Rock, who have also found unique ways to survive the zombie mayhem, they will have to determine which is worse: relying on each other or succumbing to the zombies.

My O: I haven't had this much fun at the Cinema in a long time. :yahoo: I found myself laughing out loud on several occasions. I'm ranking it right up there with Shaun of the Dead and Return of the Living Dead as one of the best comedy horror movies. Woody Harrelson was perfect as the quirky gun toting zombie slayer. There is also a suprise appearance by a Comedy Icon, but I will not ruin the suprise. Its not the slow moving Romero type zombies (which I usually prefer), but this movie was great. It only lasted 81 min, but I think it was perfect at that length.

My PILOT Marathon, a review by Rich

Commander In Chief - Series 1

Pilot
Mackenzie Allen, who serves as Vice President of the United States, has a tough decision to make, whether or not to go against the wishes of the dying current President. He has asked her to step down and let someone a little more appropriate take his place in the Oval Office. However, it's not only the President that is calling for her resignation, it's her entire party which elected her as the Vice President to start with.

This pilot was a little bit too 'god bless America' for my taste, although it surely will become more interesting as the large array of characters and acting talent available come into their own.
The whole first woman as president, but only by default, and how she has to juggle three sickeningly nice kids and appease a husband who was her chief of staff, is so far-fetched and written for the masses that I think they missed a trick.
As the first episode it didn't create much impact, but I will come back to at least give the first series a go in due course.
