My Thoughts:
This morning I really felt like a horror movie I never seen before. while looking over the list I the title of this one grabbed me... so I looked into it a little to see if I was in the mood for it. That is when I found out it is an alternate title for The Blind Dead 3. I know this series has a cult following with a lot of horror fans. While I was a little concerned about starting with the 3rd in the series... my curiosity got the best of me so I thought I would test the series out with this one. I wouldn't say I was hugely impressed... but I did enjoy it for what it is. It was definitely enough to keep my interest. It also kept my curiosity about the films before it... as it is normal for the earlier movies to be the better ones. But over all... I found this one to be a fairly average movie. Entertaining enough to waste an hour and a half with... but not something that you should expect too much from.

This is another movie that is in the Horror Classics: 100 Movie Pack. The audio and video on this movie was better then I was expecting on this movie because of the fact that it is in one of those cheap boxsets. But there is one thing I didn't care about here... and I have seen this on most the movies I watched in this set already. Why does Mill Creek (company putting out these sets) feel the need to place their logo in the bottom right corner of the video? Sure it is only on there about 30 seconds each time off and on a couple times through the movies. While I can deal with it... it is still a little aggravating.

My Rating:
Out of a Possible 5

American Pie, a review by Dragonfire

Here's the uncensored version of America's #1 comedy hit, re-edited to include the scenes you couldn't see in theaters. You'll never look at warm apple pie the same way again! American Pie takes a hysterical look at the goal of four "unlucky in love" high school friends who make the ultimate pact: lose their virginity by prom night. As they try to manipulate their way into the...hearts of some of their classmates, their plans often backfire with hilarity.

Follow the raging hormones of four teenage boys and their girls as they gear up for the most important night of their lives...the prom?

My Thoughts

This is a funny, mostly entertaining movie.  I've seen it several times now and still enjoy it, though it definitely isn't a movie for everyone.  Most of the humor is rather crude and has the potential to offend people.  Anyone that doesn't care for that type of humor should stay away from the movie.  The plot is fairly simple, though it still manages to be entertaining.  The characters are fine for the most part.  Jim is likable.  His dad is a wonderful character.  Oz and Finch are fine.  Stiffler is a bit of a jerk.  Kevin didn't bother me the first few times I saw the movie, but he annoys me now.  The girls aren't around as much so they don't add as much to the movie.  I really don't like Vicky.  There are a lot of sexual situations in the movie, including a rather unique one involving a pie, but there really aren't any actual sex scenes and only a small amount of nudity.  The sexual content could bother some people.

Overall, the movie is funny and entertaining.

 ;D

I did get a review posted on Epinions if anyone wants to take a look.

"Stargate SG-1" Marathon, a review by DJ Doena

Disc 6

Crystal Skull
Synopsis: SG-1 discovers a crystal skull within a huge pyramid. Such a skull has been found on Earth by Nick Ballard - Daniel's grandfather. But then the skull emits an energy field and Daniel is shifted out of phase. Nobody can see or hear him anymore. SG-1 needs the help of Nick to find out what happened to Daniel.

My Opinion: One can really imagine that Nick could be Daniel's grandpa. I think they did a great job with the conversations between Daniel and Nick, before Daniel realizes that Nick can actually see and hear him. They work as monologue as well as as dialogue. (Loads of "as" here!)

Nemesis
Synopsis: Thor's ship, the Beliskner, has been taken over by the Replicators. The Replicators are the enemies from Thor's galaxy, of whom he has reported earlier. They are a mechanical lifeform which primary objective is to reproduce. For that they literally eat Thor's ship. The Replicators have brought the Beliskner to Earth and they plan to land. SG-1 has to prevent that.

My Opinion: Spectacular crash. If humans are good at one thing, then it is to destroy things. :D I liked it a lot.

The Season - My Opinion: The storyline that began it all has come to an end: Sha're is dead and Skaara is free again. Only Apophis is still terrorizing the neighbourhood. There have been weaker episodes again, but as I said before I don't believe in a perfect season. But the season had a lot of interesting episodes, especially some that started new storylines.

PS: I'll take a short break now until after Easter.
