OverviewJust when you thought it was safe to go back to camp...here's even more heart-pounding terror. Five years after the horrible bloodbath at Camp Crystal Lake, all that remains is the legend of Jason Vorhees and his demented mother, who had murdered seven camp counsellors. At a nearby summer camp, the new counsellors are unconcerned about the warnings to stay away from the infamous site. Carefree, the young people roam the area, not sensing the ominous lurking presence. Ony by one, they are attacked and brutally slaughtered. Suspense and screams abound in this compelling thriller.

Night of the Demons, a review by addicted2dvd

Title: Night of the Demons
Movie Count: 71
TV Ep Count: 35
Other  Count: 2
Time Started: 8:30am
Plot:
It's Halloween night and Angela is throwing a party, but this is no ordinary spook bash. Everybody's headed to Hull House, a deserted funeral home with a shocking secret in its past and something evil alive in its basement. Now the guests are becoming possessed, and this party's treats include tongue-ripping, eyeball gouging, gratuitous nudity, bloody dismemberment and more. Welcome to the blowout where all Hell is breaking loose: You're invited to NIGHT OF THE DEMONS!

Scream Queen 'Linnea Quigley' stars in this twisted 80's splatter-fest dirrected by 'Kevin S. Tenney' (WITCHBOARD) and featuring grisly gore effects by 'Steven Johnson' (DEAD HEAT, SPECIES). NIGHT OF THE DEMONS is presented totally uncut and uncensored and loaded with exclusive new extras for the first time ever on DVD.

My Thoughts:
This is classic '80s horror. The kind of horror I grew up with... so I definitely have a soft spot for it.This one is definitely a no-brainer popcorn type movie... just a sit back... relax and get lost in the nonsense. Even though I would say this one is basically a low budget horror... I would also say it is at the high end of low budget horrors... if that makes any sense to you.  While watching it you don't feel low-budget coming from it... decent effects... including some pretty cool looking demons. Was definitely worth the 90min I put into the movie.

My Rating
Out of a Possible 5

The 2013 Pilot Review, a review by DJ Doena

The Millers

The Millers @ IMDb
The Millers @ Wikipedia

Synopsis: After their son Nathan got divorced, father Tom (Beau Bridges, Stargate SG-1) finally feels free to leave his wife Carol (Margo Martindale, Dexter). While Tom suddenly moves in with their daughter Debbie (Jayma Mays, Glee), Carol moves in with Nathan. Laugh track comedy.

My Opinion: I know these crazy schemes are a standard sitcome pattern but this time it just broke the show for me. Maybe it was just too early for a non-established character to pull one of these.
I barely saw the appeal of the show in these first two episodes but I would have given it a chance because compared to Dads I found Beau Bridges' dad rather funny. But this whole fake death stunt made me seriously dislike the mom and whatever the show had going for it just vanished.
