Jennifer's Body, a review by addicted2dvd
Stars: Megan Fox as Jennifer Amanda Seyfried as Needy Johnny Simmons as Chip Adam Brody as Nikolai Sal Cortez as Chas Ryan Levine as Mick Plot: Sexy temptress Megan Fox is hotter than hell as Jennifer, a gorgeous, seductive cheerleader who takes evil to a whole new level after she's possessed by a sinister demon. Steamy action and gore galore ensue as the male student body succumbs to Jennifer's insatiable appetite for human flesh. Now it's up to her best friend (Amanda Seyfried) to stop Jennifer's reign of terror before it's too late! Extras:
My Thoughts: This one arrived in the mail today... figured I will go ahead and check it out. I had a bit of a problem getting drawn into this film. I definitely seen better. I mean I found it entertaining to a point. I was easily able to get through it till the end. I even checked out some of the extras on the disc. But in the end I found the film to be average at best.My Rating: Out of a Possible 5 (From What Movies I Been Watching on July 9th, 2013) Young Mr. Lincoln, a review by HalTitle: Young Mr. Lincoln: The Criterion Collection Year: 1939 Director: John Ford Rating: NR Length: 100 Min. Video: Full Frame 1.33:1 Audio: English: Dolby Digital: Mono Subtitles: English Stars: Henry Fonda Alice Brady Marjorie Weaver Arleen Whelan Eddie Collins Plot: Few historical figures are as revered as Abraham Lincoln, and few director-star pairings embody classic American cinema as perfectly as that of John Ford and Henry Fonda. In Young Mr. Lincoln, their first collaboration, Fonda gives one of the finest performances of his career as the young president-to-be, struggling with an incendiary murder case as a novice lawyer. Compassionate and assured, this is an indelible piece of Americana. Extras: Scene Access Featurettes Gallery DVD-ROM Content 28-page booklet; Archival audio interviews My Thoughts: It is so unfortunate that this movie was released in the same year as Gone with the Wind, The Wizard of Oz and Goodbye Mr. ChipsGoodbye Mr. Chips(From Young Mr. Lincoln on July 31st, 2010) Tom's Random Star Trek Reviews, a review by TomVOY 2.18. Death Wish Writer: Michael Piller (Screenwriter), Shawn Piller (Original Material By) Director: James L. Conway Cast: Kate Mulgrew (Captain Kathryn Janeway), Robert Beltran (Commander Chakotay), Roxann Biggs-Dawson (Lieutenant B'Elanna Torres), Jennifer Lien (Kes), Robert Duncan McNeill (Lieutenant Tom Paris), Ethan Phillips (Neelix), Robert Picardo (The Doctor), Tim Russ (Lieutenant Tuvok), Garrett Wang (Ensign Harry Kim), Gerrit Graham (Quinn / Q), Peter Dennis (Isaac Newton), Maury Ginsberg), John de Lancie (Q), Jonathan Frakes (Commander William Riker) The first Voyager Q episode and the best one of the three. It guest stars Gerrit Graham (who will always be the principal of the rival school in Parker Lewis to me) as a Q who want to end his immortal life. And our Q is there to prevent this. Q is great as always and also the story is interesting. We also have a cameo by Commander Riker in this one. Rating: (From Tom's Random Star Trek Reviews on October 18th, 2009) |
