Men in Black 3, a review by addicted2dvd
Stars: Will Smith as Agent J Tommy Lee Jones as Agent K Josh Brolin as Young Agent K Jemaine Clement as Boris the Animal Emma Thompson as Agent O Michael Stuhlbarg as Griffin Plot:Extras:
My Thoughts: While talking with a friend of mine today she mentioned watching this film today. Which in turn got me in the mood to watch it again. Once again I enjoyed this one quite a bit. I really liked the time travel aspect in this story... as it gave us a good look at a young Agent K. There is also plenty of laughs in this one as well. I was sorry to see that Rip Torn did not return for the third movie. I liked him in the first two... and while Emma Thompson was fine as the new head of MIB... I preferred Rip Ton's character. I definitely recommend this one.. especially if you liked the first two.My Rating: Out of a Possible 5 (From What Movies I Been Watching on July 5th, 2013) Little Miss Sunshine , a review by addicted2dvd
Stars: Abigail Breslin as Olive Greg Kinnear as Richard Paul Dano as Dwayne Alan Arkin as Grandpa Toni Collette as Sheryl Steve Carell as Frank Plot:Extras:
My Thoughts: This is another movie I never seen before. It was given to me in a box full of DVDs here recently. There is a couple familiar faces in this one first there is Toni Collette who played Tara in United States of Tara. Then there is Mary Lynn Rajskub who played Chloe O'Brian in 24. Though her part was very small. I really didn't know what to think going into this movie. I basically went into this one with no expectations what so ever. Well other then the fact that I never been much of a fan of Greg Kinnear... so I was a little nervous there. It turned out that I enjoyed the movie... but as I figured Greg Kinnear was my least favorite person in it. It has a few decent laughs in it... but felt it wasn't as funny as they tried to make it. Over-all would say it is worth watching. I can see myself watching it again at some point. My Rating: Out of a Possible 5 (From TV Stars in the Movies: On-Going Mega Marathon on July 3rd, 2011) "Due South" marathon, a review by Tom2.01 North (1995-11-09) Writer: Paul Haggis (Created By), Jeff King (Writer) Director: Richard J. Lewis Cast: Paul Gross (Constable Benton Fraser), David Marciano (Detective Ray Vecchio), Beau Starr (Lt. Harding Welsh), Daniel Kash (Detective Louis Gardino), Tony Craig (Detective Jack Huey), Catherine Bruhier (Elaine), Red Green (Hamish), David Calderisi (Vecchio Sr.), Gordon Pinsent (Fraser Sr.), Andrew Jackson (Hogan), Kevin Rushton (Hunter), Brian Smegal (Jack), Barry Stilwell (Cop), Ramona Milano (Francesca (uncredited)) A good start into the new season. It follows up on Ray's promise in the last episode. This episode perfectly shows how far their friendship has come. Rating: 2.02 Vault (1995-11-07) Writer: Paul Haggis (Created By), Jeff King (Story By), Paul Haggis (Story By), Kathy Slevin (Story By), Kathy Slevin (Screenwriter) Director: Steve DiMarco Cast: Paul Gross (Constable Benton Fraser), David Marciano (Detective Ray Vecchio), Beau Starr (Lt. Harding Welsh), Daniel Kash (Detective Louis Gardino), Tony Craig (Detective Jack Huey), Catherine Bruhier (Elaine), Ramona Milano (Francesca), Camilla Scott (Inspector Margaret Thatcher), Christina Cox (Morgan), Scott Gibson (Ovitz), Boyd Banks (Norm), Vince Corazza (Lenny), Nicholas Kilbertus (Harold), David Crean (Cooper), Ken Quinn (Mountie Will), Michael Maiola (Damian), Marc Donato (Little Kid) A great episode. Fun interactions between Ray and Fraser in the Vault. More screentime for Francesca. And the introduction of Fraser's new boss Inspector Thatcher. I always liked her character in the second season. Sadly with beginning of season 3 she is only bitchy (and with a bad new hairstyle). Rating: (From "Due South" marathon on August 9th, 2009) |
