My Thoughts:
A musical I have enjoyed since I have first seen this movie. I even did watch this musical in a well-done stage version once.
As it is well-known, Audrey Hepburn's singing voice was replaced by the voice of Marni Nixon. In the special features section there are two songs where we get to hear Hepburn's original singing voice intact. I think they could have at least kept her voice for the first part of the movie, where Eliza is still her old self. I think her voice would have fit perfectly there.

Now, cheered on by every nerd, geek and misfit in town, these underdogs are about to have a field day in this slapstick hit comedy from the director of Big Daddy and Happy Gilmore and producer Adam Sandler.

My Thoughts:
Felt like watching some comedy today. Going into this one I wasn't expecting much of anything. The trailer looked like it could go either way. While I have seen better baseball comedies before.... I found I still enjoyed this one quite a bit. Sure it gets a little silly at times. But I found myself laughing at it more then once. They went a bit over the top with the nerds and geeks thing. Over-all it is a fun watch... I can easily see myself watching it again sometime.

My Rating:
Out of a Possible 5

6.13 Far Beyond the Stars
Writer: Ira Steven Behr (Screenwriter), Hans Beimler (Screenwriter), Marc Scott Zicree (Original Material By)
Director: Avery Brooks
Cast: Avery Brooks (Captain Sisko / Benny Russell), Rene Auberjonois (Odo / Douglas Pabst), Michael Dorn (Lt. Commander Worf / Willie Hawkins), Terry Farrell (Lt. Commander Dax / Darlene Kursky), Cirroc Lofton (Jake Sisko / Jimmy), Colm Meaney (Chief O'Brien / Albert Macklin), Armin Shimerman (Quark / Herbert Rossoff), Alexander Siddig (Doctor Bashir / Julius Eaton), Nana Visitor (Major Kira / Kay Eaton), Brock Peters (Joseph Sisko / Preacher), Jeffrey Combs (Officer Mulkahey), Marc Alaimo (Officer Ryan), J. G. Hertzler (Roy Ritterhouse), Aron Eisenberg (Vendor), Penny Johnson (Kasidy Yates / Cassie)

Not exactly time-travel but it qualifies for me nonetheless. Sisko has visions about being a black science-fiction writer in the fifties. I always really enjoyed this episode. It's also nice to see the cast without their alien make-up.
