Shadow of a Doubt, a review by Dragonfire

My Thoughts

Overall I enjoyed this movie.  The plot is interesting, though there were slower spots in it made it harder for me to get interested and stay interested in what was going on.  The pace did pick up more later in the movie and it was more interesting then.  The characters are interesting and Uncle Charlie makes a good, creepy villain.  Charlie is a decent main character as well.  I didn't feel like there is as much suspense in the movie, but there is still some.

The animals, in a panic, decide to break their time-honored code of silence and reveal their biggest secret: they can talk! To keep Griffin from leaving, they decide to teach him the rules of courtship - animal style! Also featuring the voices of Cher, Nick Nolte, Adam Sandler and Sylvester Stallone.

My Thoughts:
This is one of the ones I borrowed from the library. I mainly wanted to see this one because Kevin James is in it. And I have liked him since first seeing him on King of Queens. This is a fun film. I enjoyed it quite a bit. And it has a lot of famous people doing voices of animals... Nick Nolte (gorilla)... Adam Sandler (monkey)... Sylvester Stallone (lion)... Cher (lioness). This is one I can see adding to my collection. Definitely worth the time put in to watch it.

My Rating:
Out of a Possible 5

"Due South" marathon, a review by Rick

Hawk And A Handsaw
Benton manages to get himself admitted into the psych ward by simply telling the truth about himself. Great idea on the writer's part. Reminds you that they don't tame the story too serious. Very SG-1-ish... always willing to poke fun at itself.
