Plot:
Katherine Heigl (Knocked Up, TV's Grey's Anatomy) lights up the screen in this charming romantic comedy from the screenwriter of The Devil Wears Prada. This film was in a box of DVDs that was recently given to me. Unfortunately it is the full screen version... but at least I am able to use it to see if I like the movie for a possible upgrade to the widescreen version. And I did like it... I liked it quite a bit. Of course that could have something to do with the fact that I am a fan of Katherine Heigl. I have enjoyed her work since she was in the TV Series Roswell. Then I also thought she was great in the series Grey's Anatomy. I would really like to see her get another TV Series. Yes... this movie is very predictable... but then what Romantic Comedy isn't? In my eyes romantic comedies isn't about the ending... but the journey leading up to it. And this one I found to be a lot of fun.

I have read other reviews for this movie... and for the most part they seem to agree that this one is nothing special... bordering on boring. Well, what can I say? This isn't the first time I seemed to be the only one to enjoy something a lot. But that does tell me to be cautious in recommending it. So I would have to tell people to try catching it on cable or something. Don't buy this movie on my review alone. But I do see myself upgrading it to widescreen if I get a chance.

The Prince Of Egypt





Very reminiscent of a Disney animation, this story of Moses is impressive technically, has a great soundtrack, and is blessed with a heavyweight cast list which make the voices very recognisable.
Not sure how accurate this is in relation to the bible, but scenes such as the red sea crossing and the overall colourful 'feel' were exquisite and memorable.
Now over a decade old, this still appears as an impressive movie technically, and merits a viewing

A lot of great moments. I love the scenes between River and Book. How River is trying to fix the bible
And all that hair!
And I also like the Jayne storyline, where a town is celebrating him as a hero. Really funny is the scene where the crew learn about this while listening to the Jayne-Song.
