My Thoughts:
Let me start off by saying that I never cared much for Pee-wee Herman. I have never found him to be anything but annoying. I wouldn't have ever had this in my collection but a good friend of mine had this in a big box full of DVDs she gave me when she was cleaning out her collection.... back in October 2007. And it has been sitting in my unwatched shelf every since. Since Achim listed it in the movies he would like to see me review I figured I may as well finally get it off this shelf.

So obviously I went into this one not expecting much entertainment at all. But OMG... 10min into this one I didn't think I would be able to make it through this one. By half way through I couldn't take any more of it. Of course I am not surprised at all... because I always had this impression of Pee-wee Herman... but I found this movie to be no more then silly, childish and completely ridiculous. I do realize that is the entire point... but it is just not for me. I just could not see past all that to find any type of entertainment value. I will have to see if Brittany wants to give it a chance. If she wants it... she can have it.

My Rating:
Out of a Possible 5
ZERO

Saving Mr. Banks, a review by Antares

Saving Mr. Banks (2013) 60/100 - My wife really enjoyed this, as I heard her whimpering on a few occasions, but for me, this was like watching an over extended volley in a rather ho hum tennis match. Exposition of childhood in Australia ---> Bitchy British broad in Los Angeles ---> Australia ---> Los Angeles ---> Australia ---> Los Angeles ---> Australia ---> Los Angeles, etc., etc., etc., ad nauseum. Every time it went back to her childhood, I moaned, as these scenes were the worst parts of the film. Almost as bad, was the corporate Disney propaganda that laced most of the modern day sequences so subliminally, it would have impressed Joseph Goebbels. The only real enjoyment I got from this film, were the scenes of the Sherman brothers writing the great songs that make Mary Poppins such a great children's movie. I would have been better off watching that film instead.

Teal = Masterpiece
Dark Green = Classic or someday will be
Lime Green = A good, entertaining film
Orange = Average
Red = Cinemuck
Brown = The color of crap, which this film is

Charmed Marathon, a review by addicted2dvd

Disc 5:

16. Saving Private Leo
When two ghosts seeking revenge on Leo kill Piper, Phoebe and Paige face the horror of losing another sister.

My Thoughts:
Excellent episode! Is one of my favorites. In this episode we learn a lot about Leo's past. Which I found really interesting.

17. Bite Me
Trying to unseat Cole as ruler of the Underworld, a vampire queen turns Paige into a bloodsucker and urges her to feed on Phoebe and Piper.

My Thoughts:
Another excellent episode. I love pretty much anything to do with vampires... so this is another of my favorite episodes. And lets face it... Paige made one hot looking vampire!

18. We're Off To See The Wizard
Piper and Paige help a wizard stop the coronation of a new Source, unaware that Cole is the Underworld head and Phoebe is his Evil Queen.

My Thoughts:
This one I didn't think to much of. Everyone finds out about Cole in this episode... and Phoebe being pregnant with his child gives in to her own evil urges. As I said many times I do not like Cole. Plus I never cared for the Wizard (thought it was ridiculous how he was done) in this episode... so between the 2 of them this episode pretty much sucked for me.

19. Long Live The Queen
When Phoebe helps her sisters save an innocent, she and Cole face a bloody coup unless she proves her dark allegiance by killing Piper and Paige.

My Thoughts:
Going into this one today... I could have sworn this was one of the ones I didn't care for. But I was wrong. This was a really good... strong episode. I really enjoyed every minute of it. Phoebe really had a fight within herself in this episode. And even though I know we haven't seen the end of him... I definitely enjoyed seeing Cole get blown up.
