Extras: Scene Access Audio Commentary Feature Trailers Bonus Trailers Deleted Scenes Featurettes Production Notes Music Videos DVD-ROM Content Booklet NOTE: This is the first time I ever seen this movie. I figured this would fit this marathon going by the genres in DVD Profiler. In this case... after watching the movie I am not so sure I would normally include this movie in a comedy marathon. The comedy is really barely there. This movie doesn't set out to be funny as it's main goal. My Thoughts: OK... this is not normally my thing. I am not what one would call a music fan. And there is definitely a lot in this movie. But I knew this going in. When my friend offered to send me this one... the main reason for saying yes was because of 2 things.... 1. Kirsten Dunst 2. Eliza Dushku And I definitely enjoyed watching these two girls (as well as many others) dance around in short skirts and bikinis. So that was definitely enough for me to not only stick it out... but get some enjoyment from it. Besides that... the main storyline is entertaining as well. I liked both Kirsten Dunst and Eliza Dushku's characters in this movie... it was fun to watch them in such a different type of movie then I am used to seeing them in. I don't know how often I could possibly watch this movie... but I can see myself watching it again with a reason (fitting into marathons and such). My Rating: Out of a Possible 5 (From Unwatched Comedies Marathon on March 13th, 2011) Resident Evil: Apocalypse, a review by HalTitle: Resident Evil: Apocalypse Year: 2004 Director: Alexander Witt Rating: R Length: 94 Min. Video: Widescreen 2.40:1 Audio: English: Dolby Digital: 5.1, English: PCM: 5.1, Commentary: Dolby Digital: 2-Channel Stereo, Commentary: Dolby Digital: 2-Channel Stereo, Commentary: Dolby Digital: 2-Channel Stereo Subtitles: English, Portuguese, Spanish Stars: Milla Jovovich Sienna Guillory Oded Fehr Thomas Kretschmann Sophie Vavasseur Plot: After narrowly escaping the horrors of the underground Hive facility, Alice (Milla Jovovich) is quickly thrust back into a war raging above ground between the living and the Undead. It's a heart-pounding race against time as the group faces off against hordes of blood-thirsty zombies, stealthy Lickers, mutant canines and the most sinister foe yet. Extras: Scene Access Audio Commentary Feature Trailers Deleted Scenes Featurettes Blu-Wizard My Thoughts: Not as good as the original. I think what bothers me about this movie is that they've concentrated so much on the action that there's zero character development. You don't get to know any of the characters well enough to develop any kind of connection. The "bad" guy, other than Nemesis, keeps changing and there's little indication as to what their true motivation is. The good guys get bitten and turn into bad guys, there really doesn't seem to be any way to overcome the forces that are behind the conspiracy, and in the end, when you think you've won, you actually haven't. Obviously, they were setting up the sequel! This barely gets a three rating for action and Nemesis.Rating: (From Hal's 2010 Horror Marathon Reviews on October 9th, 2010) Tom's Random Star Trek Reviews, a review by TomStar Trek: The Animated Series Season 1.02 Yesteryear Writer: Gene Roddenberry (Original Characters By), D. C. Fontana (Writer) Director: Hal Sutherland Cast: William Shatner (Capt. Kirk), Leonard Nimoy (Mr. Spock), DeForest Kelley (Dr. McCoy), George Takei (Mr. Sulu), Nichelle Nichols (Uhura), Majel Barrett (Nurse Chapel), James Doohan (Scotty) I can't believe it has been a year already since I left off this marathon. It is time now to watch the time-travel episodes of the animated series. This episode is probably one of the more famous ones from the animated series. In it time is changed and Spock doesn't exist anymore. He has to travel back in time and save himself as child from death. It is a rather good episode.
