Plot:
The adrenaline-pumping kick ass 'Dead or Alive' videogame is taken to the next level as a movie from Hong Kong action legend Corey Yuen (The Transporter).

Three beautiful women - each a sizzling martial arts mistress - are invited to the world's ultimate secret fighting tournament to slug it out for a $10m prize.

Tina Armstrong (Jaime Pressly) is a sexy superstar pro-wrestler. Christie (Holly Valance) is a sultry master thief. Kasumi (Devon Aoki - Sin City, 2 Fast 2 Furious), is a proud Ninja princess, schooled in the ancient fighting arts. All three begin the awesome fighting contest as rivals, but soon must team up to defeat the tournament's sinister secret. Samurai swords slash and punches fly as the martial arts mayhem cranks up in DOA: Dead Or Alive.

Extras:
Deleted Scenes
Featurettes
Scene Access

My Thoughts:
I have never played or even seen any of the video games, the movie is based on. This is probably good, because I didn't have any expectations of how the characters should be like.
For me this movie is just a fun movie with over-the-top martial arts (and that much of it) and a lot of hot girls kicking ass.
I very much enjoyed this movie for what it is. Don't expect a deep story here, but who would anyway in a movie based on a fighting game? ;)

A View to a Kill, a review by Dragonfire

Roger Moore lends humour, elegance and lethal charm to his final performance as James Bond in 'A View to a Kill'. Bond confronts Max Zorin (Christopher Walken), who has devised a plan to corner the world's microchip market, even if he has to kill millions to do it! But before Bond can stop the madman, he must confront Zorin's beautiful and deadly companion May Day (Grace Jones).

My Thoughts

This one isn't one of the best Bond movies, but I do enjoy it overall.  Several aspects were more silly than anything, but everything still worked overall.  Zorin is fine as a villain, though not one of the best.  Given when the movie was made, it makes sense for computer chips to be involved in some way.  I'm still not sure what I think of May Day.  She made a good hench..person and there is something rather creepy about her.  The action scenes are decent, though some things are more over the top.  I could definitely tell in a few places that a stunt man was standing in while in the previous movies it wasn't as noticeable to me.  Moore is definitely showing his age and it isn't as believable that all the young women were jumping into bed with him.

I still have to watch the extras on my DVD.

Charmed Marathon, a review by addicted2dvd

Disc 3:

"Ms. Hellfire"
Original Airdate: January 13, 2000
Prue assumes the identity of a mysterious assassin, while Piper and Phoebe race against time to protect the next intended victim.

My Thoughts:
This was a very good episode I enjoyed it a lot. Pru really got into playing bad... and made it fun to watch. But I will say... that wannabe witch they saved really got on my nerves to watch... I am glad she wasn't in more of the episode then what she actually was.

"Heartbreak City"
Original Airdate: January 20, 2000
A Demon of Hate steals Cupid's powerful love ring and sets out to destroy all of his recent love matches, including the relationships of the Charmed Ones.

My Thoughts:
This was a good episode... but not one of my favorites. It is just a basic good episode. And when you have a series that lasts well over 100 episodes the basic good episodes just don't seem as special.

"Reckless Abandon"
Original Airdate: January 27, 2000
Phoebe brings home an abandoned baby boy so the Charmed Ones can protect him from a vengeful ghost who has been killing off the men in his family.

My Thoughts:
Another basic filler episode... but was fun to watch. I got a kick out of seeing the sisters interact with a baby for the first time.

"Awakened"
Original Airdate: February 3, 2000
Prue and Phoebe ignore the code preventing witches from using spells for personal gain when Piper comes down with a mysterious. life-threatening illness.

My thoughts:
This is one I liked a lot. of course it does center around Piper... so that might have something to do with it. I also liked how they put the disease into a ninja doll and how they made others get infected with the disease. So was a fun episode for me.
