It's all here, the not-so-special efects, aliens in skating skirts zooming around in string-powered flying saucers to implement the ninth plan of Earth's conquest (the first eight failed) with an army of zombies (well, three actually): Vampira, Tor Johnson and Bela Lugosi in his legendary "postmortem" performance (with Ed's chiropractor standing in for Bela after his death).

This truly original movie, Ed Wood's 'Citizen Kane', is a hymn to all those who have ever tried to create something intelligent and meaningful and failed miserably every step of the way.

My Thoughts
Is that for real? I mean, how can a single movie be that bad? I tried. I really tried. But I just can't see what the so-bad-its-good crowd sees in this. I honestly never thought I would find something bad enough for me to almost quit halfway (I didn't, I watched it through and through). And you know what? This is 1h20m or so of my life I'll never get back.

Plot:
When George and her colleagues get a new boss whose focus is on moving souls quickly and enjoying life without consequences, the team begins to break the strict grim reaper rules. While her friends fall victim to their desires for money, success, and fame, George breaks another rule by revealing her true identity to her living family. As the reapers struggle with their roles on Earth, they each find that death can be just as complicated as life.

I enjoyed this movie. I liked that they brought resolution to the Reggie/George storyline.
I didn't like the storyline with the new boss Cameron. And also the new actress for Daisy doesn't come close to Laura Harris' portrayal of the character.
But really nice to see the characters again. Good to see that George still works at Happy Time.

Highlander



What's the show about?
Duncan MacLeod was born 400 years ago in the scottish Highlands and he is immortal - at least as long as nobody cuts his head off. He is not alone. There are more immortals out there like him and they all are waiting for the Gathering, when only few of them are left alive and they fight for The Prize.

What happened before?
For this series to work it has to be places in an alternate reality then the first Highlander movie (Why do I say "the first Highlander movie?" There is only one Highlander movie ). In the movie Connor MacLeod fought against Kurgan in the Gathering and won The Prize.

"The Gathering"
A young man breaks into Duncan MacLeod's antiques store and is mistaken for an immortal. But then the immortal Slan Quince enters and is going for Duncan's head. Additionally another immortal arrives: Connor MacLeod, the same clan but another vintage. But Slan doesn't give up that easily, he wants Duncan's head badly...

My Opinion
I really liked the show especially with the flashbacks to former times. But it was really sad when Tessa died.
