My Thoughts:
This is the first time I ever seen this Hitchcock classic. And I must say... I loved every minute of it! The story kept me glued to my seat from start to finish. I found that the movie has a really good pace to it. While it does of course have slower scenes... it never slows down to the point that even the slightest bit of boredom sets in.  I think the entire cast... main stars and supporting cast alike... did a great job. I did find this movie to be a more graphic movie then any other Hitchcock movie I have seen in the past. So it does show a change in the times that occurred by the early '70s. This movie not only made it into my top favorite Hitchcock movies... but top favorite movies period.

Out of a Possible 5

My Boyfriend's Back, a review by addicted2dvd

My Boyfriend's Back
Teenager Johnny Dingle will do anything to keep his date with the hottest girl in school - even come back from the grave! You see, Johnny had the perfect scheme to win the heart of Missy McCloud, the town beauty. Unfortunately, Johnny's scam goes sour and he winds up dead! Even so, Johnny's determined to keep his date - unaware of the hilarity waiting for him upon his return! See for yourself why everyone's dying to see this outlandishly funny comedy!

My Thoughts:
Hmmmm... what is it that I think about this movie. On one hand it is a fun little Romantic comedy horror. It has an enjoyable story and they do some fun things with the fact that he is a zombie. Like when he is making out with his girl in the care she starts to nibble on his ear and his ear falls off. Being a zombie movie they had to put some gore into it. which of course is done more in a comedic way... and really don't look that real or anything. On the other hand there is a lot of over-acting... and I really didn't care for the comic book inserts into the movie. Not to mention some of the stuff in the movie was just plain silly. I am happy I added it to my collection. But it isn't one I would really watch that often.

My Rating:
Out of a Possible 5

My PILOT Marathon, a review by Rich

Criminal Minds: The First Season

Extreme Aggressor
After a fourth woman goes missing in Seattle in a period of four months, the BAU is brought in to track down the abductor before he kidnaps again. Meanwhile, SSA Aaron Hotchner is asked to evaluate SSA Jason Gideon secretly to determine if he is really ready to work full-time again after returning from a six-month leave of absence.

Criminal Minds revolves around an elite team of FBI profilers who analyze the country's most twisted criminal minds, anticipating their next moves before they strike again.

Disappointing pilot episode, the coincidentalness of the plot and its solving was just too much to swallow, if it were really that easy the FBI would be catching serial killers every 5 minutes.
Similar in an inferior way to CSI, the 1st episode lacks the disturbing punch I have read follows in later episodes, where of course a different story is told each time. I didn't warm to the actor who plays the lead Gideon, and the remainder of the cast I felt were banal and wooden.
Will persevere with the series in due course based on so many highly praising reviews, but if based solely on the pilot it would have gathered dust.
If you want a more credible series in this vain, definately invest in my previously reviewed Cracker.
