Overview
My thoughtsTomorrow Never Dies, but it has its flaws. Stockholm syndrome made Elektra King want to murder 8 million people for monetary gain? Thank God none of the people in the real Stockholm drama (a bank robbery in august 1973) went anywhere near that crazy! The head of MI6 going out into the field herself? Hardly!

Some good, some bad makes this just a so-so Bond movie. But even so-so Bond movies can be quite entertaining. And it's a step up from Tomorrow Never Dies.

The Curse of the Cat People, a review by addicted2dvd

Title: The Curse of the Cat People
Year: 1944
Director: Gunther V. Fritsch, Robert Wise
Rating: NR
Length: 70 Min.
Video: Full Frame 1.33:1
Audio: English: Dolby Digital Mono, Commentary: Dolby Digital Stereo
Subtitles: English, French, Spanish

Stars:
Simone Simon
Kent Smith
Jane Randolph
Ann Carter

Plot:
Simon returns in The Curse of the Cat People, a sequel in title and a landmark study of a troubled child in fact. Robert Wise makes his directing debut, co-helming a gothic-laced mix of fantasy and fright so astute it was used in college psychology classes.

Extras:
Scene Access
Audio Commentary
Trailers
Closed Captioned

My Thoughts:
This really is just a sequel in name only. The story itself had nothing to do with the first one... other then having a couple of the same characters. Definitely not what I was expecting when I bought it... but thankfully I was warned ahead of time and went in expecting it. And you know... I really enjoyed it. Just as much as I did the first one. The story is interesting... the time spent watching it just flew by. While I may have preferred a more straight forward sequel, I am glad I have this in my collection... and must say... give it a chance. As long as you go in knowing that this has extremely little to do with the first part I think you will like it. And once again... that Simone Simon is adorable... I just wish she had a bigger part in this on. I mean she has a nice sized part but took a while for you to see her for the first time. She isn't really in the beginning of the movie.

My Rating:
Out of a Possible 5

The IT Crowd: Version 3.0 - (mini) marathon, a review by Tom

03. Tramps Like Us (2008-12-05)
Writer: Graham Linehan (Writer)
Director: Graham Linehan
Cast: Chris O'Dowd (Roy), Richard Ayoade (Moss), Katherine Parkinson (Jen), Matt Berry (Douglas), Lucy Robinson (June), Tom Binns (Nolan), Janet Whiteside (Olive), Adam De Ville (Greg), Tom Meeten (Tramp), Laura Patch (Tour Guide), Darren Strange (Lawyer), Lewis Macleod (Narrator (voice))

This episode wasn't so good. The storylines were all done thousand times before and except for a few lines, it wasn't really funny.
