I Bury the Living, a review by addicted2dvd

I Bury the Living
A newly appointed cemetery chairman discovers that, merely by inserting a black pin into a wall-sized map of the cemetery, he can cause the deaths of that plot's owner.

My Thoughts:
This is a very good classic. One that I have enjoyed a few times since getting it in the Total Movie Classic Boxset. Of course being public domain release in a boxset they gave away with a magazine subscription the quality could be much better... but it is definitely watchable. This is one I would like to find a release with better transfer and some extras.

My Rating:

My Thoughts:
I decided to watch this today off of a recommendation of our friend Kathy. The first thing I did was watch the trailer for the movie. This had me fairly psyched because I have enjoyed such movies as this that were set in the past... a reminder of a simpler time. But the trailer had me a little worried that it would be more of a chick flick type. But I got to say... I really enjoyed every minute of it. Easily the best movie I watched so far today! It has an all-star cast of great actresses... as well as a story you just get lost in. It has a roller coaster of emotions. One minute you are laughing out loud at it... the next you are in a thrilling moment that the actually worry about the for one of the characters... and then the next it is tugging at your heart strings. It really surprised me how much I enjoyed this movie... so I must thank Kathy for the very entertaining suggestion!
