My Thoughts:
Thought I would watch the next film in the series. Especially considering this one has Alyssa Milano in it. Someone I have liked since I was a teen watching her on Who's the Boss. Once again... the copy I have in this set is the Pan and Scan version. So once again I do not recommend this triple feature DVD. As for the movie itself... while it is a good one... I liked the first one more. This one took me longer to like the characters and get into the storyline. But once I did I found I enjoyed it quite a bit. This time they decided to go with more of a happier ending compared to the first one. This one is worth the time put in to watch it.

Rachel Getting Married, a review by goodguy

   Rachel Getting Married (2008)
Written by: Jenny Lumet
Directed by: Jonathan Demme
Starring: Anne Hathaway, Rosemarie DeWitt, Bill Irwin, Debra Winger
DVD: R1-US Sony (Mar 10, 2009)

My rating:

Cover blurb: When Kym (Anne Hathaway - Golden Globe Nominee, Best Actress, Motion Picture (Drama)), returns to the Buchman family home for the wedding of her sister Rachel (Rosemarie DeWitt), she brings a long history of personal crises, family conflict and tragedy along with her. The wedding couple's abundant party of friends and relations have gathered for a joyful weekend of feasting, music and love, but Kym - with her biting one-liners and flair for bombshell drama - is a catalyst for long simmering tensions in the family dynamic. Filled with the rich and eclectic characters that remain a hallmark of Jonathan Demme's films, RACHEL GETTING MARRIED paints a heartfelt, perceptive and sometimes hilarious family portrait.

Tom's Buffy and Angel Marathon, a review by Tom

04. Beauty and the Beasts (1998-10-20)
Writer: Marti Noxon (Writer)
Director: James Whitmore Jr.
Cast: Sarah Michelle Gellar (Buffy Summers), Nicholas Brendon (Xander Harris), Alyson Hannigan (Willow Rosenberg), Charisma Carpenter (Cordelia Chase), David Boreanaz (Angel), Seth Green (Oz), Anthony Stewart Head (Giles), Fab Filippo (Scott Hope), John Patrick White (Pete), Danielle Weeks (Debbie), Phill Lewis (Mr. Platt), Eliza Dushku (Faith)

An episode I never really cared for. I was never a fan of third season's Angel storyline. Good thing they have spun him off to another series. I think he is more interesting away from Buffy.
