Vantage Point, a review by KinkyCyborgTitle:Vantage Point Year: 2008 Director: Pete Travis Rating: PG-13 Length: 90 Min. Video: Anamorphic Widescreen 2.40:1 Audio: English: Dolby Digital: 5.1, French: Dolby Digital: Dolby Surround, Spanish: Dolby Digital: 5.1, Portuguese: Dolby Digital: 5.1, Thai: Dolby Digital: 5.1, Commentary: Dolby Digital: 2-Channel Stereo Subtitles: Chinese, English, French, Korean, Portuguese, Spanish, Thai Stars: Dennis Quaid Matthew Fox Forest Whitaker Bruce McGill Edgar Ramirez Plot:Extras: Scene Access Feature Trailers Featurettes Interviews Outtakes/Bloopers Closed Captioned My Thoughts: Great movie! Couldn't believe it was over so quick. An assassination attempt as seen from 8 different points of view, hence the title. Seeing the event repeated over and over again got to be a little tedious after awhile but it was necessary to put the pieces together and made for a great climax. One of the best car chase scenes I've seen in a movie in a long while. And to think I had this one in bluray and traded it away! Stars: Katie Featherston as Katie Kathryn Newton as Alex Matt Shively as Ben Aiden Lovekamp as Wyatt Brady Allen as Robbie Stephen Dunham as Doug Plot: All of the activity has led to this! When Katie disappeared with her nephew Hunter, there were no survivors. Five years later she's returned with a mysterious boy, ready to target new victims with her demonic rage. Now, a family's young daughter will capture every one of the terrifying occurrences, beginning with her new neighbors' arrival. It all leads to an "ending so intense, it will leave you shaking."* *Billy Donnelly, AIN'T IT COOL NEWS Extras:
My Thoughts: I always liked the Paranormal Activity films... and while I did like this one... it just caught me as more of the same. Maybe I wasn't truly in the mood to watch this one today or something but I just found I didn't enjoy it as much as I normally do. During the investigation of this, Data gets pulled into the past. This season cliffhanger may not have the big impact expected from such a cliffhanger, but I always enjoyed this episode.
