Quest for Camelot, a review by addicted2comicsTitle: Quest for Camelot: Special Edition Year: 1998 Director: Frederik Du Chau Rating: G Length: 86 Min. Video: Anamorphic Widescreen 1.85:1 Audio: English: Dolby Digital: 5.1, French: Dolby Digital: 5.1, Music Only: Dolby Digital: 5.1 Subtitles: English, French Stars: Jessalyn Gilsig Andrea Corr Cary Elwes Bryan White Gary Oldman Eric Idle Plot:Extras: Scene Access Feature Trailers Bonus Trailers Featurettes Production Notes Music Videos Closed Captioned My Thoughts: This is actually an old favorite of mine. Though I love the story and the spirit, it suffers from one flaw - - -too much music. I personally think a song or two is plenty. But, C'mon! A song just for the villain to explain his plan? A song where the dragons impersonate Elvis and Sunny & Cher? Ugh. Nonetheless, still a favorite! I wouldn't be surprised if I felt like watching it again! My Rating: Out of a Possible 5 (From Doing the ABC's Movie Style!! on July 25th, 2010) Robot Wars, a review by GSyren
(From Reviews and ramblings by Gunnar on March 10th, 2014) Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles: The Complete Second Season marathon, a review by Achim22. BORN TO RUN The Connors come face-to-face with Weaver in a confrontation that shakes John to the core and changes his fate forever. My Comments: I didn't see any of this coming. Some of it was hinted at, probably more than once. Also a big surprise was how little action there was. I enjoyed every second of this episode (except for the very last one, actually), a perfect blend of character moments, emotion, action, funny moments. An excellent finish, which ends the series properly and makes good sense; although it had me think to get most details of it. ...I obviously struggle to write about this one as I feel anything could be a spoiler and all of it deserves to be experienced fresh when viewed for the first time. (Yes, we spoiled most other episodes, but somehow for this one it feels different.) (From Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles: The Complete Second Season marathon on March 5th, 2010) |
