Bordello of Blood, a review by addicted2dvd

Bordello of Blood
A wickedly funny motion picture complete with all the 'hack'citement anyone could 'axe' for! Dennis Miller, stunning supermodel Angie Everhart and Erika Eleniak join every 'bodies'' favorite cutup, the Cryptkeeper, in a hip 'fright'mare of sly humor, sex appeal and go-for-the-juglar special effects.
Madam Lilith (Everhart) and her lucious cohorts run a most unusual bordello on the edge of town. They don't just take your money for services rendered - they bleed their customers dry! But wisecracking private eye Rafe Guttman (Miller) is on the case, and soon he must battle not only a den of scantily clad vampiresses, but also the Reverend Jimmy Current (Chris Sarandon), a slick televangelist with an all-powerful talisman.
The thrills and chills come so fast you'll never know where this tale will 'beheading' next.

My Thoughts:
It has been a while since I watched this one last! I have always been a big fan of the Tales from the Crypt TV Series... so was thrilled when I first heard they were making some Tales from the Crypt movies. Extra thrilled when I heard they were making a vampire movie. I don't normally care much for Dennis Miller... but I actually enjoyed him in this one. I also enjoyed Erika Eleniak in it as well. This is just a fun vampire movie... with a nice amount of eye candy for us guys.

My Thoughts:

About Last Night is a testimonial to young love that takes both comedic and serious turns at showing us the pitfalls of relationships.

Babyface Rob Lowe made all young women hearts aflutter in the late 80's early 90's but he really kind of disappeared from the limelight, mostly appearing on TV after that.

Demi Moore at about this time was just starting her blossoming career. Speaking of blossoming, watch this movie and then Striptease to see the before and after of her 'bodily enchancements'. She is a gorgeous woman at any stage of her metamorphosis.

The scene stealer in this film is once again John Belushi. The perfect 'best buddy' in all films of the like, he always plays a vulgar ass and does it well, earning the most laughs.

I've never really liked Elizabeth Perkins. I don't know if it's her appearance or demeanor but it seems like in everything I have watched her in she always has her nose in the air. Never really got that.

Been a long time since I watched this and yet I could remember certain scenes right before they happened. Lines that have just stuck with me over the years which is usually a sign that I liked the movie... and I did!

Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman Marathon, a review by addicted2dvd

11. Honeymoon in Metropolis (12/12/93)
Lois and Clark check into the honeymoon suite. No, it's not what you think. They're undercover, on the trail of a crooked Congressman and international arms dealer who threaten national security.

My Thoughts:
A good episode. I have seen better... but it has some funb scenes in it. I enjoyed the scenes of Lois and Clark undercover in the Honeymoon Suite of the hotel. Especially the phone call between Clark and his parents gave me a few chuckles.

My Rating:
Out of a Possible 5

12. All Shook Up (1/2/94)
When Superman zooms into outer space to destroy an asteroid hurtling toward Earth, he gets a jolt and amnesia. Can he regain his memory and try again before a fragment of the asteroid strikes our planet?

My Thoughts:
This is a great episode. One of my all-time favorites. If I am not mistaken this is actually a remake of an episode of Adventures of Superman with George Reeves. I remember there is at least a similar episode anyway.

My Rating:
Out of a Possible 5
