Scream 2, a review by Dragonfire

Scream 2

Here's the incredible follow-up to the smash hit phenomenon Scream!  Away at college, Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell - Scream, TV's Party Of Five) thought she'd finally put the shocking murders that shattered her life behind her...until a copycat killer begins acting out a real-life sequel!  Now, as history eerily repeats itself, ambitious reporter Gale Weathers (Courteney Cox - Scream, Scream 3), deputy Dewey (David Arquette - Scream, Scream 3) and other Scream survivors find themselves trapped in a terrifyingly clever plotline where no one is safe - or beyond suspicion!  Director Wes Craven (Scream) and hit-making writer Kevin Williamson (Scream, I Know What You Did Last Summer) team up once again and deliver the big screen's hippest, coolest, edgiest thrill-ride ever!

My Thoughts

I did get a review posted on Epinions if anyone wants to take a look.

My Thoughts:
This is my second time watching this mini-series. I was hoping this time I would enjoy it a little more then I did the last time. But going by my rating in profiler... and my notes on the last time I watched it.... I feel pretty much the same. It's not a bad film... I did enjoy it. But I still felt unsatisfied when it was over. I think... at least in my opinion... they went with an easy out at the end... but then added a bit of a twist to that easy out. Which was ok... but I just felt like there should have been more to it. As usual.... I did enjoy watching Catherine Bell in this one. But surprisingly I wasn't as impressed with Lou Diamond Phillips this time. I don't know... just felt like his heart wasn't in it or something.

My Rating:
Out of a Possible 5

Smallville Marathon, a review by addicted2dvd

Season 3: Disc 3:

9. Asylum
Three of Clark's former opponents approach Lex to enlist his help in luring Clark to the hospital after they hear that Lionel has requested Lex be given electroshock therapy to erase his memory.

My Thoughts:
This was a good episode. I like that you get to see some of the past Freak of the Weeks... of course we once again get someone that learns and then forgets Clark's secret.

10. Whisper
Attempting to stop a robbery, Clark is temporarily blinded when he shoots off a burst of heat vision that is accidentally reflected back into his eyes by a piece of kryptonite and soon realizes his body has developed super-hearing to compensate for his lack of sight.

My Thoughts:
This is one of the ones I really like... of course this is the one where he gets his new power of the season. In this episode... I believe the only episode?... we get to meet Pete's mother... the judge when Pete gets kidnapped so that his mother don't send someone to jail.

11. Delete
Clark and Lana each make an attempt on Chloe's life for unknown reasons after they receive a mysterious e-mail from the Summerholt Institute.

My Thoughts:
This is another good episode. It has a lot of great action in it. I especially liked when Lana went after Chloe... that was a decent fight scene.

12. Hereafter
Clark discovers that his schoolmate Jordan can foresee the future, but is horrified when Jordan tells him he "sees" Lana dying in a fire in the next few days

My Thoughts:
I would say this is just a basic good episode... nothing too special here... but enjoyable. Was interesting when Jordan said he seen that Clark is different... that he didn't see his death like he won't die or something.
