It's been two weeks since I got this movie. And just now I watched it for the fifth time! And still enjoyed every minute of it. The first time around, even though I enjoyed the songs, I thought they were nothing special. But then I couldn't stop listening to them and now I think they are great.
Rapunzel is just a fun character to watch. And also is Pascal, her pet chameleon. Usually I don't like animal sidekicks all that much, but Pascal is just a riot. It's a good choice that they didn't make him a talking animal. He is funny just with the looks he gives. It's worth rewatching the movie just for him by concentrating on him instead of Rapunzel. They are some stuff he does that I missed the first time around.
The following is my favourite song in this movie. In my opinion it gets across the character of Rapunzel perfectly. Mandy Moore did a perfect job in my opinion.



Currently my favourite Disney movie.

Plot:Six years ago when young Robin Hammond crashed through a broken window, her playmates vowed to keep the accident a secret. They promised that no one would ever know. But someone already does.
Now,after years of keeping the secret, Robin's sister Kim (Jamie Lee Curtis) is about to be crowned Prom Queen, but a chilling event undermines her party plans. Revenge for the six year old murder is around the corner as the unknown observer turns maniacal killer stalking the high school halls. Kim's friends are disappearing and the halls are filling with blood. 'This was the prom where some were crowned and others lost their heads.'

My Review:
This movie is nearly 30 years old, and it felt every day of it. JLC looked about 10 years too old for school, and Leslie Nielson was so uncomfortable in a serious role he appeared wooden. The disco dance scenes are hilarious, albeit unintentionally, and the music during the 'tension' scenes is off-putting. With red herrings in spadefuls, and complete lack of gore, this becomes a humdrum whodunnit.
Only the chase sequence and unmasking of the killer at the end, which I hadn't even considered, pulled it up to average status.
