My Thoughts:
For me this movie is a bit of a let down. Too many stupid plot contrivances. Like why is Gordon sending all police officers down to the sewers? Doesn't he even consider in the slightest that it could be a trap?
Also it feels a lot like rehashing Batman Begins, having Bruce again locked up in a prison where he has to escape from. When I first saw it, I saw it coming very early on, who the main bad guy will turn out to be.
This movie could have been easily told in a shorter runtime. Anne Hathaway as Catwoman is great though. And I liked the ending, even though I guessed it coming.

Messiah of Evil, a review by addicted2dvd

Title: Messiah of Evil
Year: 1973
Director: Willard Huyck
Rating: R
Length: 90 Min.
Video: Pan & Scan 1.33:1
Audio: English: Dolby Digital Stereo
Subtitles: N/A

Stars:
Michael Greer
Mariana Hill
Joy Bang
Anitra Ford
Royal Dano

Plot:
When the messiah of evil returns, the moon will turn red, and the living dead will prowl the night and previously "regular" people will become flesh-eating zombies!

Extras:
Scene Access

My Thoughts:
This movie is from a cheap 10 movie horror boxset I got long time ago called Tales of Terror. Unfortunately since it is in a cheap boxset the quality leaves some to be desired. I felt like I was watching an old VHS tape. After watching this movie I am really having a hard time reviewing it. As the movie itself is a bit on the confusing side... especially the ending. The acting could have been better... though not so bad that it was hard to watch. I was really feeling a bit on the disappointed side watching this one... as it seemed slow and pretty boring. there was one scene I did quite enjoy though... a scene in a movie theater. But it really wasn't enough to bring this movie up in scale past just an average movie.

My Rating:
Out of a Possible 5

The Flash Marathon

Episode 12 - The Trickster
Three's a crowd! While Barry/The Flash and private investigator Megan Lockhart renew their friendship, a madcap magician who calls himself the Trickster sets out to hocus-pocus Megan into his own life.

Guest Stars:
Mark Hamill as The Trickster

Biff Manard as Murphy
Mike Genovese as Lt. Warren Garfield

My Thoughts:
Another one of my favorite episodes. This one is just plain hilarious. It is loaded with laughs. Mark Hamill was a trip as The Trickster. I especially had to laugh at The Flash trying to run on a floor full of marbles.
