Marley & Me, a review by addicted2dvd
Stars: Owen Wilson as John Jennifer Aniston as Jenny Eric Dane as Sebastian Kathleen Turner as Ms. Kornblut Alan Arkin as Arnie Klein Nathan Gamble as Patrick (Age 10) Plot: Jennifer Aniston and Owen Wilson unleash huge laughs as John and Jenny Grogan, a young couple contemplating the decision to have a baby. Then came Marley...an adorable Labrador pup who flunks obedience school and quickly turns his new home into a disaster area. But over the years, the Grogans come to realize that "the world's worst dog" truly brings out the best in them. Extras:
My Thoughts: I don't really know what to say about this film... I watched it the other day... and don't get me wrong.. I did enjoy the movie... I was just somehow expecting more from it. I guess between the good cast... the good storyline and my hearing lots of good about it had my expectations up higher then it should have been. I went into this one expecting pure comedy... but there is a lot of drama here as well. Which really isn't a bad thing... just not what I was expecting. I may find I enjoy it more on a second viewing since I now know what to expect. But to me... right now... basically just an average movie. Don't expect more and you can have fun with it. Also, unlike part two, it is not overlong.Rating: (From Tom's Random Reviews on December 18th, 2008) Tom's Buffy and Angel Marathon, a review by Tom12. Helpless (1999-01-19) Writer: Joss Whedon (Created By), David Fury (Writer) Director: James A. Contner Cast: Sarah Michelle Gellar (Buffy Summers), Nicholas Brendon (Xander Harris), Alyson Hannigan (Willow Rosenberg), Charisma Carpenter (Cordelia Chase), David Boreanaz (Angel), Seth Green (Oz), Anthony Stewart Head (Giles), Kristine Sutherland (Joyce Summers), Jeff Kober (Zackary Kralik), Harris Yulin (Quentin Travers), Dominic Keating (Blair), David Haydn-Jones (Hobson), Nick Cornish (Guy), Don Dowe (Construction Worker) A great episode! I especially like the scenes where Buffy learns about the betrayal by Giles and the ending, where Giles is fired. Btw, Lt. Reed from Enterprise is vampire food in this episode.
