Eight years ago she was a total geek; now she's back to get it right! "Drew Barrymore is brilliant!" (Jonathan Foreman, New York Post) in this hilarious, heartwarming comedy about that wacky "wonderland" of homework, hot lunches and raging hormones known as high school.

Newspaper reporter Josie Geller (Barrymore) is going undercover as a student to learn about today's teens. At first she's thrilled...until she remembers her nickname: "Josie Grossie." Can a former clueless nerd navigate the hallways of high school without tripping over her own feet?

Extras:

  • Feature Trailers

My Thoughts:
This is a pretty good one. Though I will admit you need to stick with it a little before getting into it. It is a bit of a slow starter. It is a decent story with a few laughs. I would have liked to seen a little more comedy in it though. I liked both Drew Barrymore and David Arquette in it. And I was a little surprised to see Jessica Alba in a somewhat smaller roll as one of the "popular kids." Anyway... this one is definitely worth the time put in to watch it.

Heartbreakers, a review by Dragonfire

My Thoughts

I've seen this one a few times and I still enjoy it.  Paige did annoy me at times with her attitude, but it wasn't so bad that it interfered with my enjoyment of the movie.  Some of what was going on was extremely silly, but I still thought it worked and made an entertaining movie.  I did think some things were very funny.  This isn't a movie that will appeal to everyone, though I suppose some may enjoy seeing Jennifer Love Hewitt strut around in in the tight, skimpy outfits that she looked ready to pop out of. :)

 ;D

I did post a review of this movie on Epinions a few years ago if anyone wants to take a look.

Pete's Pilots, a review by addicted2dvd

Dinotopia: the Series

Marooned
A family is marooned in Dinotopia as the lost paradise becomes threatened by unimagined dangers.

My Thoughts:
I blind bought this series back in April of 2005 when I saw it cheap and remembered that I did enjoy the miniseries. But for some reason I never bothered to watch a single episode till now. The pilot episode clocked in at 43 minutes. And I found myself getting a bit drowsy during the episode. As I found it a bit slow and... I don't want to say boring... but it did take an effort to get through it. I think it may have been better if it was only a half hour show. Hopefully the rest of the series will be a bit more entertaining then this episode.
