Only he who possesses this bow can unleash the Titans, who have been imprisoned deep within the walls of Mount Tartaros since the dawn of time and thirst for revenge. In the king's hands, the bow would rain destruction upon mankind and annihilate the Gods. But ancient law dictates the Gods must not intervene in man's conflict. My Thoughts:

I quite enjoyed this film. I watched the ordinary 2D version as I don't have a 3D TV. I have got and watched "The Fall" by Tarsem (Singh) and although I enjoyed that film more I felt that there were some similarities between them with the way in that both films seemed, to me, to have a touch of style over substance. This I feel was confirmed in one of the featurettes where Tarsem said, something along the lines of, that he preferred to let the colours tell some of the story rather than words or action.

Where the Truth Lies, a review by KinkyCyborg

Title:Where the Truth Lies
Year: 2005
Director: Atom Egoyan
Rating: NR
Length: 107 Min.
Video: Anamorphic Widescreen 2.35:1
Audio: English: Dolby Digital: 5.1, French: Dolby Digital: 5.1

Stars:
Kevin Bacon
Colin Firth
Alison Lohman
David Hayman
Rachel Blanchard

Plot:
Kevin Bacon (Mystic River), Colin Firth (Love Actually) and Alison Lohman (Big Fish) scorch the screen in director Atom Egoyan's (The Sweet Hereafter) powertful erotic thriller.
The acclaimed comedy team of Lanny Morris (Bacon) and Vince Collins (Firth) are at the top of their game when a beautiful woman is found dead in their hotel suite. Though both stars have airtight alibis, the resulting scandal forces the duo to terminate the act. Now, years after the breakup, journalist Karen O'Connor (Lohman) resolves to uncover the truth that lies beneath the mysterious incident.

Extras:
Scene Access
Deleted Scenes
Featurettes
Closed Captioned

My Thoughts:

Decent. Plenty of gratuitous nudity and sex for all. Kevin Bacon plays seedy characters quite well and he doesn't disappoint with this one either. Colin Firth surprised me as I'm used to him playing a puff in most films but he had a bit of a hard edge in this one which is ironic as his character was a closeted homosexual. The worst thing about this movie is that the pair were supposed to be portraying a comedy duo that rivaled Martin & Lewis but there was absolutely nothing funny about their stand-up bits. I'm sure that was meant to be secondary to the murder mystery but it was SO bad it was hard not to notice.

Weekend Movie Marathon: TV Show Reunion Movies, a review by addicted2dvd

The Dukes of Hazzard: Reunion!
In Reunion!, folks come home to Hazzard and discover a plot to turn Hazzard Swamp into a theme park...leaving the swamp critters high and dry. Before you can say wait a durn minute, the cousins are back in the General Lee, tearing up the roads to stop the nefarious scheme.

My Thoughts:
The Dukes of Hazzard has been a favorite of mine since my childhood! Good Ole Boys... General Lee... and of course Daisy Duke! What more could any all American Red-Blooded country boy ask for? It was so good to see so many of the original cast back for this reunion movie. Unfortunately Sorrel Brooks, who played Boss Hogg, passed away before the making of this movie. But they were sure to do right by his memory in this movie. Back in the '80s and '90s I was huge into Martial Arts movies... since then I have not watch many. But it was cool seeing Cynthia Rothrock... and her talented feet in this movie. Almost makes me want to go out and pick up some of her old martial arts movies. Whatever happen to her anyway?... I haven't seen or heard much of her for a long time now. Unfortuinately there is no extras what so ever on this disc.
