Garfield: A tail of two kitties, a review by addicted2dvd

Garfield: A tail of two kitties
Breckin Meyer, Jennifer Love Hewitt and Bill Murray return in another adventure with America's favorite fat cat is back, and this time, Garfield's giving England the royal treatment! It's a British invasion of a different kind when Garfield (Murray), along with pals Jon (Meyer) and Odie, travels to London and meets his mirror-image in Prince, an aristocratic kitty who has inherited a fabulous castle. The two trade places, and soon Garfield is living large as only he can! There's just one problem: the dastardly Lord Dargis wants him out of the picture. 'Garfield: A Tail of Two Kitties' is twice the laughs and double the fun for the whole family. It's good to be the king!

TV Star:
Jennifer Love Hewitt (Melinda on Ghost Whisperer)

My Thoughts:
After watching the first one I had the urge to watch the sequel as well. I never seen this one before today... and even though I thought it was a good, fun movie... I don't think it was as good as the first one. It just wasn't as fun. Unfortunately Jennifer Love Hewitt had a bit of a smaller role in this one as well. But don't get me wrong... this movie is still worth watching.

Persona, a review by Danae Cassandra

Persona
Year of Release: 1966
Directed By: Ingmar Bergman
Starring: Bibi Andersson, Liv Ullmann
Genre: Drama

Overview:
By the midsixties, Ingmar Bergman had already conjured many of the cinema's most unforgettable images. But with the radical Persona, this supreme artist attained new levels of visual poetry. In the first of a series of legendary performances for Bergman, Liv Ullmann plays a stage actor who has inexplicably gone mute; an equally mesmerizing Bibi Andersson is the garrulous young nurse caring for her in a remote island cottage. While isolated together there, the women perform a mysterious spiritual and emotional transference that would prove to be one of cinema's most influential creations. Acted with astonishing nuance and shot in stark contrast and soft light by the great Sven Nykvist, Persona is a penetrating, dreamlike work of profound psychological depth.

My Thoughts:
There's not much I can add to the conversation on this magnificent film. So much has been said already. This is a true masterpiece of cinema, a complex and layered piece of work that will require multiple viewings to peel back the strata. Be prepared for an intellectual film, but this is a must-see for cinephiles.

Bechdel Test: Pass

Overall: 5/5

This first episode had me hooked on the series when I have first seen it. It's a good comedy show.
