Join them in their quest for true love, happyness and finding that perfect soul mate. Extras: Featurettes Scene Access Trailers My Thoughts: A very predictable movie, which succumbs to be a bad soap opera in the second half including their infamous cue music. The synopsis sounded much more fun than the movie turned out to be. Though the movie had some fun scenes. Rating: (From Tom's Random Reviews on August 18th, 2009) Flyboys, a review by EricFlyboys Click the pic for details This movie is based on the true story of the Lafayette Escadrille which was a french squadron composed of american pilots who voluntarily joined the WWI before the United States did. I really enjoyed this movie from beginning to end and I highly recommend it. In certain ways, although very different, it could be compared to The Battles of Britain. The specials effect of flight and combat scenes are spectacular and although there is many of it I never got tired. It almost makes you feel like watching an IMAX movie at times. My Thoughts: I just finished watching this set. Not to bad considering I just got it this past Monday. While I still consider Grey's Anatomy to be one of my all-time favorite medical dramas... I must admit that this isn't their strongest season. While I definitely enjoyed most all the episodes... they weren't quite the caliber of episodes that I am used to from this series. Especially coming after such an excellent season that we got in season six. And why is it that all my favorite shows just must have a musical episode? While the main storyline for this episode was good... it really didn't need the musical aspect that they gave it. And at the very least... for me personally... it took away from the episode. Making me want to fast forward through half the episode. Still a really good season... but I definitely seen better. My Rating: Out of a Possible 5 (From Addicted2dvd's Random TV Series Watched on September 12th, 2012) |
