Synopsis: Evolution is a long and slow process. But every few hundred millenia it takes a leap forward. It has created human mutants. But how are they going to live in our society? Do we have to control them? Do we have to know what they can do? There's a war upon us and Magneto wants to make sure that he's on the winning side. And for this he needs a mutant called Wolverine, or doesn't he?

My Opinion: Although it's a comic adaption it feels much more real than previous superhero movies, Christopher Reeve's Superman movies come to mind. As with Batman, Superman and all the other american superhero I've never read any of the comics and am thus not burdened with any expectations or knowledge that could hinder my enjoyment of the movie.
And so I enjoyed it a lot. The characters were great altough a bit few for my taste. It's a dilemma: One the one hand it's not really logical that each side has only three fighters (Wolverine, Storm & Cyclops vs. Sabretooth, Mystique & Toad) but if they had been more it may have been to much. But the fights were cool, everyone could participate and use their abilities.
When X-Men Origins: Wolverine comes into the theatres this year you'll find me exactly there!

Overview
My thoughtsThe Day the Earth Stood Still, just like The Cosmic Man. And just to make sure, the producers hired Day's female lead Patricia Neal.

Just like The Cosmic Man this movie is mostly talk and very little tech. Well, we do get a saucer but it looks about as high tech as the saucers in Plan 9 From Outer Space.

It's not an awful movie, but it hasn't aged very well. Viewers acustomed to today's filmmaking would probably be bored to tears. Personally I found it mildly interesting, but unless you're a fifties genre movies completist you might as well skip it.

Ghost Whisperer Marathon, a review by addicted2dvd

Disc 6:

21. FREE FALL
The spirits of a pilot and flight attendant contact Melinda. She experiences a sense of dread over the possibility of a plane crash.

My Thoughts:
This is the first part of the season finale... not to mention a great episode. I enjoyed every second of it. Even though they tried well enough to cover it up... I remember the first time I saw this episode... I instantly knew the twist. Which kinda sucked since I hated to see that situation happen.

22. THE ONE
After a jetliner crashes Melinda faces the overwhelming task of helping hundreds of passengers cross over. "Wide Brim Hat Man" is working against her. She must work with the crash investigators who try to find out how she knew the plane was going to crash.

My Thoughts:
This is a great ending to the first season.... naturally this takes over right where the last episode left off. Through-out this episode they hinted at the big twist I mentioned in the last episode... then at the end of the episode they revealed it.I whole time I first watched this episode I kept telling myself I knew I was right.

Season One Over-All Thoughts:
This is a really great show that had me hooked since the very first episode. This show made me a fan of Jennifer Love Hewitt. I knew of her before this show... but was never that much impressed with her till I saw her in this role. Know I think she is really good. They did a good job on this release as well. I love the packaging... 3 Thinkpak cases with 2 discs in each in a slip case. The way boxsets should be done! Plus they give you a nice selection of extras as well.
