My Thoughts:
I first watched this one a few months back. I can't remember... either got it from the library or watched a friends copy or what it was. But I remember enjoying it. And the fact that Kat Dennings (2 Broke Girls) plays one of the sorority girls is a huge plus for me. And I am becoming a big fan of Anna Faris... he new TV Series Mom. Yesterday I got this blu-ray release and I just couldn't wait to watch it again. Sure there is a lot here that is awful silly... but even the first time I watch this film that is something I was expecting. I just find this to be a plain fun film. The blu-ray disc also has a lot of extras on it. Lots of deleted scenes and lots of featurettes as well as the other things listed above. Anyway... if you never seen this one I would say give it a chance. Just don't expect anything more then a fun, silly movie.

Saboteur, a review by addicted2dvd

Title: Saboteur: The Masterpiece Collection
Year: 1942

Video: Full Frame 1.33:1
Audio: English: Dolby Digital: Mono
Subtitles: English, French, Spanish

Stars:
Priscilla Lane

Norman Lloyd

Plot:
This riveting wartime thriller stars Robert Cummings as Barry Kane, a Los Angeles aircraft factory worker who witnesses a Nazi agent firebombing his plant. However, it is Barry who is accused of the fiery sabotage, and to clear his name he sets off on a desperate, action-packed cross-country chase that takes him from Boulder Dam to New York's Radio City Music Hall to the top of the Statue of Liberty. Hitchcock's first film with an all-American cast moves with breakneck speed toward its final heart-pounding confrontation, and remains a suspense classic.

Extras:
Scene Access
Feature Trailers
Featurettes
Gallery
Production Notes
Storyboard Comparisons

My Thoughts:
This is one of the several movies in this set that I have never seen before. I really liked the storyline of this one. And it really had a good start... a very interesting and entertaining first good half of the movie. The rest of it was pretty good as well... though the second half did have some slow parts that was a little more difficult to get through. Sure this movie goes a little heavy on the patriotism... but I think that is understandable between the subject of the movie and the times it was made. It is definitely worth seeing... but I can't say it is my favorite Hitchcock movie.

My Rating:
Out of a Possible 5
