A Beautiful Mind, a review by addicted2comics

A Beautiful Mind

The Plot: After a brilliant but asocial mathematician accepts secret work in cryptography, his life takes a turn to the nightmarish.

My Thoughts: First thing first, this movie is LONG! 2 hrs and 16 minutes according to the case. May not be that long to most of you, but what can I say? Guess I have a short attention span.

Well that and the fact that it opened to a school and everyone had British accents, idk, it just didn't help. I honestly can't see myself finishing this movie actually. I found I just couldn't get myself to pay attention!!  :slaphead:

I won't rate this because, quite honestly, I wouldn't do it justice. I think I may be into it when I get older, but until then I think it'll have a happier home in my dad's collection. :)

Charlie's Angels, a review by addicted2dvd

Charlie's Angels: Special Edition
Adventure has never been more beautiful than CHARLIE'S ANGELS! Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore and Lucy Liu star as the captivating crime-fighting trio who are masters of disguise, espionage and martial arts. When a devious mastermind embroils them in a plot to destroy individual privacy, the Angels are on the spot with their brains, brawn and high-tech toys. Aided by their loyal sidekick Bosley (Bill Murray), the girls are about to bring down the bad guys when a terrible secret is revealed that makes the Angels a target of assassination. Now, it's a matter of life or death as the stunningly smart detectives use their state-of-the-art skills to kick evil's butt in this sexy, high-octane comedy!

My Thoughts:
Once again this is a movie that several people I personally know didn't like... but I, myself... I enjoyed it quite a bit.  Granted other then some very cool fighting scenes... there is nothing of real substance here.... it is just a cool, action packed, fun movie with some sexy women. Pretty much what the series was... a basic guilty pleasure if there ever was one. I really liked who they got in all the roles. And it looks like they had a blast doing the picture. In my opinion... this isn't meant in any way to be a thought provoking movie... just a good clean fun popcorn movie. And for me at least... it pulled it off well.

My Thoughts:
I just finished this season of Charmed. As usual... I enjoyed every moment of it. Even a bit more so then some of the previous seasons. There is some big episodes in this season. And thankfully they finally got ride of the character of Cole. Yes... I know he is a very popular character... but I just never liked the guy. Other then that, this season has a couple of good two part episodes and the birth of Piper's son Wyatt. Even an episode where the girls are transformed into superheroes... costumes and all. When I first decided to watch some episodes of Charmed I figured I would watch maybe a season or two. And here I am so hooked I made it through season 5 and looking forward to starting season 6. With only 3 seasons to go... I imagine I will be finishing off the entire series.

My Rating:
Out of a Possible 5
