Plot:
Dead soldier Bart Gregory has two problems: 1) he's a zombie and 2) he needs blood - lots of blood - or he'll "die" all over again. Turning to his best buddy Joey for support, the two hatch a plan to guarantee supply and create a win-win situation. Convinced that no one will miss the drug dealers and killers of their corrupt city, the friends become "The Vigilante Gun Slingers", turning the scum of the streets into snacks for Bart... Both belly-bustin' and blood-thirsty, The Revenant is a fantastic action-packed horror comedy with a difference!

Extras:
  • Commentary
  • Deleted Scenes
  • Featurettes
  • Scene Access

My Thoughts:
The first movie I have seen is "The Revenant". This one is really funny. It stars David Anders, whom I know from "Heroes". His character has died and he awakens. He looks like a zombie but he still has his full mind. His behaviour is more like a vampire. His best friend helps him getting human blood, which he needs.

Needful Things, a review by addicted2dvd

TITLE: Needful Things
YEAR: 1993
DIRECTOR: Fraser C. Heston
LENGTH: 120min.
PLOT:
From Stephen King's #1 best selling novel comes this terrifying thriller starring Ed Harris, Bonnie Bedelia, Max Von Sydow, J.T. Walsh and Amanda Plummer.

A mysterious new store opens in the town of Castle Rock, Maine. Despite the nerve shattering prices on every item, the owner is always willing to make a devil of a deal.

This is Stephen King's town of terror, where an evil stranger unleashes a deadly scheme and the residents must pay the ultimate price.

Get ready for the final showdown between good and evil... get ready for "the best Stephen King film ever."

My Thoughts:
I have not watched this movie in years... not since I first bought the DVD. So going into this one today I pretty much forgotten everything. After popping in the DVD the first thing I noticed was a big disappointment... a screen came up saying This film has been formatted to fit your screen! Damn! it is only in Fool Screen!?! Not fair! As for the movie itself... I enjoyed it. This movie seems to be kinda on the fun side of horror.... like they want to entertain you in more then the horror way... not really comedy but a light-heartedness if that makes sense. Extras wise this is a bit of a disappointment as well... just has the Theatrical Trailer and some Filmographies.

Tom's Random Star Trek Reviews, a review by Tom

DS9 2.23 Crossover
Writer: Gene Roddenberry (Original Characters By), Peter Allan Fields (Screenwriter), Michael Piller (Screenwriter), Peter Allan Fields (Original Material By)
Director: David Livingston
Cast: Avery Brooks (Commander Sisko), Rene Auberjonois (Odo), Siddig El Fadil (Doctor Bashir), Terry Farrell (Lieutenant Dax), Cirroc Lofton (Jake Sisko), Colm Meaney (Chief O'Brien), Armin Shimerman (Quark), Nana Visitor (Major Kira), Andrew Robinson (Garak), John Cothran, Jr. (Telok), Stephen Gevedon (Klingon #1), Jack R. Orend (Human), Dennis Madalone (Marauder)

The mirror universe is revisited 100 years after Kirk travelled to it. It is a nice idea that Kirk's visit and influence on the Mirror-Spock is cause of the fall of the Terran Empire.
It is again fun to see another side of the characters. The producers seem to like the chance of killing off the main characters in the mirror universe episodes. Here Quark and Odo bite the dust.
During this episode I was thinking, that having Worf there would have been very fitting. And just now I have read, that they intended to do that (he was even in the script), but Michael Dorn was too busy filming TNG.
I had almost forgotten how annoying Bashir was to the other characters early in the series.
